Hi gentlemen !

I've just bought La Grande Armée AT Austerlitz and installed the two patches for the game. I'm running under Windows XP ( )

Unfortunately, it is very difficult to use this game :

- the messages on the upside message message bar are quite unreadable (bad refresh, strange characters, some ieces of words wrritten on the top of others)

- switching from the game window to another window causes the game to stop (or crash ?). Hence, it's impossible to switch between the game and the help file.

Under many aspects, the game looks like a beta rather than like a real safe release.
Are there any patches for these kind of troubles ?

Best regards,

H.

Bonjour Herode,

I apologize for the delay in responding to your request... my attentions were distracted elsewhere...

Do you have the most recent drivers installed for your AGP or PCI graphic board?

If you have not done so already, I suggest that you send the 'spyboard.txt' file from your PC to tech@histwar.com

The 'spyboard.txt file is located in this directory:

C:\MatrixGames\La Grande Armee At Austerlitz

Please be patient.. this problem can be fixed... there are several known incompatibilites between LGAA and certain PC operating systems... thus, your OS configuration needs to be identified... and the 'spyboard.txt' file has a blueprint of your OS that can be analysed by JMM for a response...

Cordialement, Duke of Earl

Many thanks for the reply, Duke.
I'll send this file asap and pray for a miracle ;)

Best regards,

H.
