Meuse Mod For TLD/WAR - Coming May 10

German human player (Veteran) against French AI (Green)

May 12 mid day: Lead German BG's meet French cavalry BG's sent to delay the Germans while French infantry BG's cross into Belgium to defend along the Meuse river.

Force West - infantry cross shallow river and into forest to take buildings and VL's
Force NW - mixed armour and infantry
Force N - Mixed armour and infantry

Force West - takes the Exit VL to the South and buildings to the W
Force NW - destroys French infantry but loses 2 tanks
Force N - pushed North unopposed taking the exit VL North and the buildings in the NE part of the town

May 12 mid day: Turn 1 Battle 2 Pouillon - German BG Attack German Plan

Force West - mixed infantry and tanks force. Infantry will go West through the houses while the tanks hold position firing on any enemy on the hill or open area
Force South - 1 squad push South taking the forest VL then turn West to take the Exit VL South by the train tracks

May 12 mid day: Turn 1 Battle 2 Pouillon - German BG Attack

Force West - Infantry went West taking the houses while the tanks fought with French armour with both sides taking loses
Force South - German squad pushed South taking the forest VL then turned West taking the Exit VL South by the train tracks before contuining right up the hill to the bunker where they were all killed.

French morale breaks and they give up the bunker.

Force North - single squad push North to take the forest VL then infiltrate West
Force Center - Armour & Vehicles charge down the main road taking the bridge VL
Force South - Mixed armour and infantry take the forest VL then push West across a shallow part of the stream meeting up with the bridge force to take the building and exit VL's

Force Center - Armour & Vehicles charged down the main road taking the bridge VL but lost the lead half track to infantry
Force South - Mixed armour and infantry took the forest VL then pushed West meeting up with the bridge force at the building where a fire fight developed with French infantry. All 3 German infantry squads were lost and a truce agreed to.

Ground that was to be taken was.

French lost just under 3X the infantry while Armour/Gun/Vehicles losses were about the same.

Forces Back - make sure the French do not deploy forward to retake the bunker then push North up the road

May 12 mid day: Turn 2 Battle 1 Pouillon - Results

Forces Forward - wipe out 2 squads and destroy an armoured car pushing NW to the hedges line
Forces Back - see no enemy but before being able to advance French armour starts down the main North/South road but an 8.8cm gun takes out 2 tanks than the PzIV takes out an armoured car. German armour then pushes North killing French infantry squads as they are found.

French morale breaks and the BG can not retreat so it disbands.

May 12 mid day: Turn 2 Battle 2 Montmedy - German Attack

Force North - 2 infantry squads sneaked forward capturing the exit VL North and then moved to the back bunker as French forces moved forward
Force South - the mixed force pushed SW capturing the 2 VL's in the field and then the South entry VL before turning North

Great success as the French retreated giving up 3 VL's but staying on the map....

May 12 evening: Turn 1 Battle 1 Houx - Results

French AT guns take out a German tank right at the start but then one of them is destroyed while other is abandoned allowing German armour to drive around the map destroying all French infantry squads encountered. The end result is a French morale break with 3 VL's being given to the Germans. The French remain on the map though...

Sent the tanks straight across the bridge and followed later by the infantry.

The AI had 2 guns that were badly positioned so they did nothing to prevent the German tanks from wiping out the French infantry.
