not a big issue but...

I am playing the axis including the Spain that did join the dark forces. At one point Franco decided to built an aircraft carrier, however when completed there were no port available in Spain for this carrier (thus i understand the carrier, now completed, is somewhere downtown Madrid...

should spain not having a deep enough port to support carrier needs, spain should not able to build such ship?
or a deep enough port should be created

regards
yves

There is currently no mechanism checking is there possibility to launch such unit.
Creating larger port in Spain seems to be reasonable.

Presumably Ferrol would be a large enough port, or Cartegena or Cadiz perhaps. But one question: How does civil war-ravaged Spain get to build an aircraft carrier? Where would she get the raw materials (and the cash to buy those raw materials, develop her aircraft for maritime use etc?) from?

Apart from a few gunboats and minesweepers, the Spanish built nothing post the civil war until the availablity of US aid well past 1945.

In the game how big is this aircraft carrier?
