You left out paper clips and red tape. No HQ can run without them. As to adverse morale effects from outside influnces, US sailors took a big morale hit when they tasted Brit rum and realized they weren't going to get more. And the Brits took big morale hits when they saw US ice cream etc. US Lend Lease ships caused a big flap. They had things like water coolers and decient heads. Shocking! There was a serious effort to get such evil things removed! Fortunatly they failed. My favorite is a 10 point morale boost for air resupply. You know for the inevitable stuff that missed the ship, wasn't avalable, or needed in unexpected quanities. Plus the morale effects of knowing you had a chance of getting flown out if wounded. Then we can add an other 10 point boost for a Bob Hope show. No, not for Bob, but for all the women he brought! The list is long!
