I've been looking at aircraft costs and am realizing that 2E and 4E planes are really expensive. One can save quite some HI while making a couple of strategic choices and by nott waisting 2E and 4E planes for tasks that can be carried out by 1E planes.

I think that Rangoon has been reinforced with the UK 18th Division. Will have to wait until the 33rd arrives to prevent a massacre...

Repair of the oil field and refinery goes smoothly, but the B17D bombardments could become a serious problem.

Typical story at Luzon. The Allies pull back without a fight. I have moved a minimum amount of troops there. I'm not in a hurry here and will let the Allies starve for a couple of months.

Loving your AAR. A new and fresh approach to documenting a PBEM. I especially like the comments from the commanders. Well done and keep up the good work on an extremely entertaining AAR.

Thanks! I quite like the format myself as well.

It seems the Allies are building a stronghold at Palembang. I have understand that in contrast to vanilla WITPAE refineries do not produce supplies and it therefore is possible to starve a large amount of troops at Palembang (DBB-C). Is this correct?

Upgrade your WitpTracker and you get your naval fuel burn each turn .. no need to install everything just take the witptracker.jar file and overwrite the orignal ..

Thanks, the new version of WITP tracker is great! Still not sure whether Palembang is producing supplies though. I checked WITP tracker. Miri and Tarakan are consuming supplies, but also are repairing and upgrading the bases.

Judging the WITP tracker data at Tarakan suggest that no supplies are produced at refinery's, which means that starvation of the Allied troops at Palembang is an option. Also it is very likely the Royal Navy have moved in among others a torpedo squadron. I don't see any other reason why Hermes would be at Benkoelen. Got a nice fish in her though...

Finally have torpedo ordnance at Balikpapan and risked/lossed quite some ships for it and what do the G3M2 commanders? They are going to bombard ground troops and leave some juice targets alone
