I just finish 2 games so I am looking for serious gamers for long term game. If you have played at least 5 PBEM and ready to give me a good challenge, this message is for you.

Scenarios 17, any side. I play some 10 PBEM UV games so far and I love it. I have played QQP,s WW2 S.P. and SSG's Carriers at War for years. I also own many bordgames on the same topic.

Most of the time, I could play more then one turn every night and a lot more during the weekend.

mario

P.S.; I played 80% of my games has the IJN. I would prefer to play the USN in my next game :)

Mario,

If you are still looking for an opponent, I am ready
one request is that we do 200% commitment, IJN sub doctrine off, fixed reinforcements. Let me know and I send you my opening on #17

Hi Mario I don't really have time to plot as IJN. But if you wish to try a new plan for IJN I will accept new PBEM games. However I do not like the IJN sub doctrine being changed. (you can of course change it) It is much easier to fit new PBEM games as allies (since for at least 6 months they are reacting rather then acting) This offer of course is open to all.

I think it is the IJN player who have to chose the sub doctrine he wont. Not the USN one.

Anyway I put this message a few weeks ago and I have all the opponents that I nead. Thanks for the offer.

BTW, I don't know if I am good player but I could tell you a lot of players are very bad. Most of the take to many risks and don't protect there transports.

Hi, it is amazing the number of Admirals I kill when I sink an AP or SC. AP's wander right into landbased air, bases where subs are proweling, And all with no escort and very little (if any) CAP and then people say the enemy bombers are too accurate.
Just because a TF can contain 25 ships does not mean they should all be transports/tankers.
Sending TF's far from a friendly size 3 port means if they get hurt they will likely be lost (even to damage that if a port was near by would only result in a few weeks in port or a quick turn around in Tokyo/PH.
Most Japanese AP start under 16k speed. A little wear and tear from too many convoys, going long distance, or a bomb hit or two and they are sitting ducks. (Not to mention they are in fact sitting ducks when offloading onto a beach.)

Yeah yeah, but getting as good a percentage of hits from mediums at 6000 ft as the SBDs is really not likely. Remember in the early part of the game when your mediums got a few hits on my APs landing at GG? And you said "Who said bombers could hit anything from 6000 feet." Then we upgrade the game and suddenly you get an outrageous percentage of hits.

I don't save the battle reports like you do. So prove me wrong - go back to my landing at GG and see what % your mediums were geetting and then see what the % of hits you got in my Luganvilel landing.

Of course, it may be that I was lulled into a false sense of security by pre-patch damages being too light and now they are correct.

Hmm, maybe the secret is 5000 ft instead of 6000. 21 mediums get 12 hits at 5 and 6 thousand feet. Sounds way too accurate to me. While 35 meduims get 1 hit at 5 and 6 thousand before the patch. Even considering training and experience that is a big gap.:)

Hey Sonny, where is the IJN? Tyring to beat Mogami with your merchant marine?
