Looks good.

Current WitP version does not use separate light mortars as Devices (they are included into squads firepower). I am not saying you can not do this, but you would need to also redesign US/British units for this change, instead of simply pasting TOEs from WitP.

Thank you for your interest. Finishing a lot of graphic stuff. Started to test the battle for France.

AD Commander Stormwolf

I used to play from the Eastern Front mod quite a lot.
But today discourages me obsolete engine. For example, the Soviet pilot training is a very problematic issue.

Thanks to Dali, I was able to have a look at the database.
My first impression was "wow"..., a nicely and a very accurate data research regarding the units he has done.
Good job, Dali! Thanks again for your engagement!
Only a few airplane needs adjustment in some values I think; e.g. endurance or cruise speed.
They differ from the airplane-database I'm using for my mods.
The ship database I do investigate next week.
I am really all agog with curiosity how well balanced this mod can be made with the game engine.

Cheers,
Creeper

Make this a balanced and playable mod is difficult.
I'm trying.

Personally I think balance is over-rated, WWII wasn't a balanced conflict, the Axis had initial advantages over the Allies, then the Allies had overwhelming advantages over the Axis. Measure your performance against what you think you should be able to achieve, or what the real powers historically achieved, the one thing I don't think you can model is a balanced conflict, because the original wasn't.

Of course I play solitaire or vs the computer, so that biases my perceptions of the value of balance in comparison to people playing H2H, but whatever value you place on balance, it doesn't change the historical situation.

yep a truly accurate War in the West would be a gem in the AE universe,

can start with 1940,

then a full war campaign

Work still further. At present, the main scenario testing continues. I play 4 full scenario 27 with SCN testers, while the Germans are too weak. In some cases, the Allies stopped the German troops already in Belgium. I have to be further improved

Great work.

Is it worth dropping a line to michaelm to see if the "Japanese Ground Losses" header could be changed to "Axis ......"

It may be an easy fix (considering all the pwhex OOB etc work you have done)

if allies are stopping the axis too easily,

can lower allied troop experience and morale

1940 france had poor training and unmotivated troops

Did you/can you include the torpedo tubes in the Oscarborg CD guarding Oslo?
Weirdly it seems they used pre-ww1 austro-hungarian whitehead torpedoes to sink the Blucher.
Weird because the Germans actually stole torpedo technology from the Norwegians after

Specifically the Schwarzkopf F5 was a 450 mm Norwegian aircraft dropped torpedo used by the Germans during the Second World War. It had a range of 2000 meters and travelled at a speed of 33 knots. It was armed with a 200 kg Hexanite explosive warhead.

I know the history and very well.
No, torpedo tubed in Oslo are not. But even so, the German navy suffer significant losses.
The game is much more active CD batteries.
Maybe sometimes to come back, we'll see ... Dali

Technically speaking - Germany should achieve victory by outmaneuvering Allies, not defeating them in combat. I remember, that in Clash of Steel, if you do not go through Belgium, you will be stopped, no matter what.

That probably would require careful design of map, and assigning most of German units as motorized, while Allies as foot.

Second probability is not in firepower difference, but more in preparation, more like Allies will be short on supply, if battle takes longer, but with the scale involved, I do not see, how it could be possible to create long lines of supply in France.

You realize that the swastika is wrong?

Also: Having the swastica on the pictures makes the mod illegal in several European states. That's unfortunate as gaming websites won't be allowed to advertise it.
