I'm hoping that Jim will eventually run out of fighters and this air was will be over with.

I can't decide if this raid was ineffectual or not. They DID get one ship. But only one ship. I expected more from this raid.

Two ships. Not bad for just 16 planes. Where was the Allied CAP? Maybe there is none.

This is a good strike by the Allies. I'm beginning to think I need some CAP at Kendari.

I don't know how to judge this one. I'm guessing the Catalina's missed the ship and hit the dock where there were personnel milling around. Or something.

Another fairly desent air strike. Half of the ships got hits on them. Okay......I can live with that.

Here's how things went on the ground at Iloilo. Operation "Beat-Down 2" is proceeding slowly.

No damage for either side at Clark Field. I'm going to have to move some more troops in there.

Manila could definately use the infusion of more troops. The damage is almost equal and that won't do.

I need to turn off the attacking at Ambon before some of my people get hurt. More troops is in order here.

I moved a Babs unit down south to scope out the Panay to Mandano area more. Some of those places don't have a very high Detection Level so I'm hoping this Babs unit will raise the DL somewhat and perhaps save me some troops losses when I assault. And I'm planning on assaulting pretty soon after Manila falls, or if I can find the troops to do it, I'll try to clean out those Allied bases before Manila falls. And I plan on Manila falling within 6 months, around there. I'm guessing. I don't remember when Manila fell, sometime in April maybe or May of '42. It's still January now game time so there's no telling if I'm on schedule or not. With Real Life I mean.

This is me upping the output of the Home Island oil refineries to get more fuel and supplies. I'm running out of supplies in the cities of the home islands and I'm hoping I can remedy that with more supplies being produced. The more fuel is a byproduct of the process. I can always use more fuel to haul out to the field.

Um.......I sent my moves to Moo about 00:40 last night as I recall and I've already got Moo's moves back from him already and did the combat replay and have the combat report in my hot little hand and I've started up Tracker and here's some current alerts:

Here's the latest Tracker economic chart:

EDIT: You can see where I've turned up the Oil Refineries quite a bit. I'm hoping to create a lot of supplies for the home islands, they're running low in almost every city except Tokyo. I had to send about 2 dozen AKE's to Tokyo to get their supplies because the port they were in had only 2K+ supplies each. I need to build that up substantially, hence the upping of the OilR numbers.

Here's the resource history for "Japan". Things may be looking up, as the last entry row for the resource history shows a gain in oil and resources. That's a good sign. I hope it continues. Supplies are still going down though. D'oh.

I've looked up all the Ambon references in the Combat Report and I thought I'd present them one at a time so you can see what's going on at Ambon yesterday.

The Ambon defenders aren't making this any easier for me. This could get expensive pretty quickly now.

More losses when they finally started unloading all the AK's onto the beach. It's not looking pretty right now.
