Guys, I have thought of a way that a PBEM Campaign be played with an opponent. PBEM CAMPAIGN 1. first battle is a meeting engagement Example: German VS Russian 1942 summer clear weather 4000 BP per-side In this fight the Germans wins next battle a Russian Delay, 5000 BP for the German and 4000 for the Russian. If the Russians win , the next battle is a German Delay 5000 BP for the Russian and 4000 for the German. If a draw next battle is a meeting engagement again. 2.Next Battle: Delay engagement, as stated as in the example. If Greater side wins the next battle is a defend with the victor of the previous game gets 6000 to 4000 BP spread. If the greater side wins the PBEM Campaign is over. If the lesser side wins the next battle is a a delay for the lesser side. If the lesser wins this delay the next battle is a meeting engagement. 3. A series of battles will be fought untill one side gains a win against a defend senario. I would like other peoples thoughts about this. ------------------ Larry Wagner USMC, SGT. 1972-1985

I found a number of ways to do PBEM campaigns but never did find people interested in it

The problem is that there's no way that I know of to get the increasing experience in an E-Mail campaign that you get in a normal campaign. That has always been the most fun part of the campaigns for me, seeing my troop quality improve with time. I guess you could make some rules and then manually change all the settings for your units, but that would be awfully tedious. ------------------ Target, Cease Fire !
