Has anyone run into problems when removing the database files? I have the db files for
backup data properties script
When I delete them I then get issues (error) with tracker loading re. 64 bit system. Place them back and it..........well loads properly. Is there a database file that I can leave safely or is this error something all together?
My tracker has sudenly stopped working I get the error Exception in thread "main" java.lang.nullpointerexception at wotptracker.images.loadimages (images.java:82) at witptracker.inmemoryDB.loadimages (inmemorydb.java:3574) at witptracker.main.main(main.java:165)
the only thing that has recently changed is i had a faulty memory stick and had to remove it so its only running on half memory 2gigs amnd as one of th errors mentions memory i supect that this is the reason but would like to confirm this is the likley cause before i get another stick of memory.

Another minor multi-day turn issue.
On the intel screen, when one selects to display one turn, you actually get one day. It's probably always done that, but since it wasn't originally loading both days of intel, who could tell
By contrast, the alerts screen does (and always has) shown the current turn, not the current day, although that's probably inherent in that it collects the data from a delta-database check and doesn't try to straighten out what happened what day.

I just moved PC's onto a 64 bit machine and I got the following initialization error using the nomap - PWSDLL.DLL cant load IA 32 bit .dll on an AMD 64 bit platform.

Its October 1943 and I am finding an out of memory error com ing into Tracker after less than 10 turns.... so i am having to delete the db files and start again... this seems odd that its so frequent,
Anyone else having this issue?
Roger

I had the same problem. Just reboot your computer and launch Tracker as your first program followed by others (WITP:AE, net browser etc.). That should work.

Well, I have just switched sides to play the Japanese for the first time in a year so it's time to dust off Tracker again. Since I have changed computers since my last Tracker run, I need to load it. My last archived version is 1.6.1 so I check for new versions. I go to the Tracker site, go to Installation, then to Releases and I find that we are up to 1.9.2.
Then I spend the next ten minutes pounding my head on the desk because I can't download it. In releases, it says "You can download it as a ZIP file from the attachments section below.". I go to the bottom of the section and I find this:
ċ WitPTracker AE Release 1.9.2.zip (3736k)
but with no action button.
What am I doing wrong? It must be something obvious since everyone else downloads it without problem but I cannot see what it is.

All the way on the right should be a blue arrow pointing down. Click that.

I don't see the arrow. The "v.1" is a button but clicking on it brings up a password request. The "d'" is a button, but clicking on it brings up a download dialogue box but there is no download to follow.

Mate- You're not having much luck... I just downloaded the file (n.p).
Can you download other files off the internet? It sounds like there is browser problem. Can you try another?
If you PM your email address to me - I'll try to send via that.

Thank you, email sent to floydg (his message arrived first, you guys are fast )
In answer to the question, I just downloaded the latest WitE patch with no problems. Clearly I have some sort of browser problems since the button spots here have a different appearance and don't work as buttons.

Hi all, can someone point me in the direction of getting tracker restarted. I haven't used it since I had my virus issue and reinstalled tracker -got an error message so I reinstalled java and get an error message.
Any ideas??
Thanks!

Edit the batch file and add the full path to your java exe.
I suggest you do this in preference to ensuring that your PATH variable includes this location as the length of the PATH variable has a fixed limit (which is always exceeded on my box anyway).
In addition if you are running JRE7 as your default Java environment you can expect further problems to occur. In this case I recommend you also install the JRE6 code and point out the destination as noted above.

Have had no tracker for a couple of turns. Here is a screenie to the crash. Support on the site said run from .bat instead of .jar and that looks like what I am doing so I don't think that is the problem.
