Notes Not too happy with the Pearl Harbor attacks, but that's the way it can go with the Naval attack, then the Port, or airfield attack setting. But that's the way I always set-up my Air Combat TFs, and the Allied Player do have Carriers close to Pearl Harbor. In an E-mail conversation I've had with Dan, he said that he's not that happy about the CVL being south of Jolo. But my take is that if the Japanese could move the Carrier force up on Pearl Harbor without detection, they could defiantly penetrate a smaller force into the Celebes Sea. But anyway, in the interest of having a happy opponent. I offered to rerun the turn without the CVL deployed, but he declined, saying he has done too much work on the turn already. So we'll carry on, and I'll try and be a good bird from now on. Also from his reaction I can gauge, that CL Boise has sunk, which is good news to any Japanese player.
