Hi everyone,

I launch a aar with my friend tanaka, on my mod epic war.
This part takes place on my mod version 0.60 and beta 2.11.
Small mirror map, no road and starting with only a single spawn.

I would play the chaos, they are space marines (be genetically modified to spread death) who rejected the light of the Emperor long ago that to serve the gods of Chaos.

Tanaka will play the Imperial Guard, army of the Emperor, it crushes the enemy under his steel tracks and millions of soldiers ready to die in His Name.

I'm sorry in advance for my poor English.I hope you enjoy it anyway this aar.

Round 1: - Exit Warp -

I arrive on the planet Keltas, my desire to murder fades sniffing the air and feeling the smell of his pathetic humans for their god corpse ...
The gods of chaos have been generous with me, the last planet devastated allowed me to raise the rank of Daemon Prince. I intend to continue on this world and spread death.

I arrived in this world will not go unnoticed, the warp is already spreading and we can thanks to the gods take possession of its millions of souls.
To me my brave soldiers, join me!

- I will bring millions of slaves to build my empire, serve me until exhaustion.

- The chosen of chaos, ahhh! My guard dogs, they serve as recognition for my army.

I'm bored already!! The slaves that I crush under my boots no longer amuses me.
I leave some still alive for they build a road to a future supply depot.

Mine chosen depart north and discovers a portal from the warp, reinforcements will be called soon.

Round 3: - Acquisition -

A new squad of chosen arrived, I ordered him to recognize the land to the south. While my slaves continue their work, they will remain in place for several days to build our supply depot.

Ah! A warp portal under my command. These pathetic humans will know the anger and bloodlust of my soldiers.

The rhinos are my spearhead, they will transport my chosen which will have a transport capacity and increased protection.

So what is that stench ? Surely, wretched human selling their souls to the gods of chaos hoping for their blessings. In truth, it is only cannon fodder!

Enjoying it already

I'm a big fan of Space Marines, although I despise the evil Chaos Marines and .. frown a bit on the Imperial Guard as they are a bit weak.

The first Space Marines RTS game was one the very very few RTS games that put a smile on my face, loved blowing up the Orks and enjoyed their stupid remarks.
Anyways you've done a marvellous job with the graphics, the Rhinos look clean and neat, well done.

Turn 4, 5 and 6: - Grouping -

Another new portal ! I did well to sacrifice a few humans, the gods are generous. I move my troops so that they are grouped under the banner of lieutenant. It receives some rhinos and waits for the rest in a future transfer.
I still sends slaves to finish my project, I killed some of them for motivation...

I call to me a lord of chaos on the principal portal, real monster in battle, it give bonuses at combat units under his command.

I took possession of the west portal, the grouping continues.
My slaves have finally finished our structure, they go back to me with fear ... With this, I would not have to use my portals to support my army in supplies.

The space marines chaos, heavy infantry with a bolter to explosive bullet. They will be the core of my army.

Raptors are made for close combat, they fall from the sky to pounce on the enemy.

The Havocs, which provide support heavy firepower against infantry as well as against armor.

My chosen to the north are finally grouped, I send them at northwest. I had a dream last night telling me the killings ahead, it was a delight.
A new Hq will be mounted in the coming days, it will be posted back to the recognition but this time it south.

The Imperial Guard is may be weak, but the cost of the units is vastly different. For a marine unit, in facing, it may produce three infantry squad. In the long term, he will have a numerical advantage on me. Even if my units are more resistant. And I do not even speak their armored...

Round 7: - Again forward -

The formation of the first chosen in recognition northwest discovered a new portal, I think it is too far from my command, we see that later!
My supply is excellent, there is that it happens soon out of reach, but there is still some margin. And even beyond limit, I gave them a supply of ammunition and fuel to push this forward.

The second training of chosen regroups in south, I would send to the southwest beyond the stream.
Slaves after a session whip take the northbound and connects the portal.

Round 8: - New formation -

.1) The first formation avoids the forest, it will bypass by the south. The portal under his command only provides production points for my future structures.

.2, 3) My slaves have too much work, they come to me for continue road from westward. A little further south, the second formation continues to move.
The portal crackles, reinforcements are called.

The defiler is the artillery of chaos, demon trapped in this carcass, it is a combat strider (Dreadnought) which can also engage units with 2 clamp energetics and heavy flamethrower.

The Predator, char main chaos, it rolls over my enemies and provide a consistently powerful fire against the weak infantry and armored opponent.

.4) The third company has arrived, it is not fully staffed, but tomorrow, it will start moving to take position northwest.
On the main portal, I called again slaves, my empire is not created fast enough!

Round 10: - Still nothing! -

The advance continued to the 3rd Company and the formation of the first chosen, still nothing on this pebble. I wonder if these miserable humans do not leave this planet...

Here too, the second chosen move after taking the portal. The slaves who were from the south will be rather busy building a road to supply the third company.
Elite troops are called on the main gate.

Space marines possessed, they abandoned their bodies in favor of the gods, who enjoy reshape their bodies to serve them better.

The Dreadnought is a Space Marine mortally wounded (and who deserve this honor), that is enclosed in this chassis to kill yet, for all eternity.

Impossible in this beginning of the game, this type of unit is available only to tiers2.

And I confirm, this unit is very powerfull against tanks and less effective against infantry.
For this, my opponent has the choice of anti-infantry models (heavy bolter with upgrade) and anti-armor (missile launcher with upgrade at lascannon).

Round 11: - Finally! -

The enemy is there, but what disappointment in seeing the "fighters" adverses, this are just of imperial guard, it will be an easy target ...

The third company that has bloodlust advance therefore on this "threat" to eradicate it. My slaves continue their tasks and the chosen continues its advance towards the west.

My master told me one day, for better to kill your enemy, we must the know!

The Imperial Guard can count on its million soldiers for hold a line, fortunately for us, these are just only human! They do not have our weapons or our armor blessed by the gods!
But they have the quantity for them, if I'm not careful, their number could soon become a problem even for space marines.

Round 11: - Surprise attack ... -

An attack is launched in one of the units of the first chosen. Without surprise, his pathetic humans are repelled.

My first action is to move the entire first chosen to attack this unit. Before this attack other imperial units are identified.

Already exhausted by their attack, it only takes 3 round to retire its human. with a squad eliminated on their side and no loss of our. I avail that the fight was short and of the speed of my space marines for put my formation to shelter in the mountains.

This new unit located to the north looks tougher.
I see at least one Leman russ standard, real monster tank (superior than the Predator) which has a howitzer capable of firing above the troops (one artillery hexagon), it is by against slower compared at my armored units.

A squad support type heavy bolter, these units can be very painful on infantry, even heavy.

Second squad support, this time around they are capable missile to inflict damage to light infantry and armor.

My squads of space marines possessed came with my dreadnought. Using the powers of the warp, this unit is sent near the front and joined the first chosen.

The third company finally arrived in the forest to support the first chosen, it has anti-tank means to fight against this threat.
The second chosen south discovers yet another spawn, this campaign will be bloody saw the number of reinforcements that will be able to come.
