just moved an air HQ to balikpapan

had 200 torpedoes during loading, they loaded successfully onto the ships, when they unloaded.. now it says 0 torpedoes

did someone dump them overboard by accident?

Any air operations using torpedoes launched between loading and unloading?

Been hapenning to me but I thought this was by design.  Torps cannot be transported or something like that.

if torpedoes can't be moved by ship, what does the 10 per torpedo supply cost represent, moving them by air or submarine??

I'm with Chris H here, always thought torpedos aren't an "real" item, but created by supply like bombs. Just with the exception of needing an special unit that can turn supply into torpedos while any AV support unit can turn supply into aviation fuel/ammunition and bombs.

Torpedo Ordnance is not part of the unit. For technical game mechanics I would say it translates intomax simultaneous torpedo sorties of the base
- as long as the governing unit is located there (for comparision look torp sorties of a CV).

Buying torpedos is an abstraction for preparing the base to launch x number of torpedo equipped strikes. It is not a physical representation
of the torpedo. This was done to tone down the massive land based torpedo attacks from original WitP, which back then came without cost.

If you move the unit you reset these values. Thats simply the way it is.
