Now this is what I call a fight!
"Like a bar room brawl with the lights shot out"
Good map, it really encourages lots of big battles.
This is way too much fun!

Definitely a brutal fight taking place! Tons of Chinese militia throwing themselves in front of enemy tanks trying to clog up their tracks.

Talking about maps. The new random map options in the v2.11 beta patch make for some really interesting maps. I've had two good random games vs three AI. Yea, the AI still needs improvement but the maps have made it more interesting.

I checked it out.(I had to as someone upgraded in the middle of our game!) Looks cool. We can go that road on the rematch.
This would be real cool (and difficult to manage properly) with 4 v 4.
Maybe for rematch we could each add a fourth team mate. Or not just thinking out loud.

Well, if you guys are ready to surrender, we are ready for that rematch... ;-)

P.S. Upgrading to the v2.11 patch has zero affect on our game as all settings/bugs, etc. are saved into the saved game file. So we are still playing a v2.10 game even if the says we are playing v2.11. At least that is my understanding.

Cool Which random game settings are you using for these good AI games?

These are the v2.11 setting I used:

Main Settings Screen
Large or x-large map
4 players
map loop
shroud
1 town start
stone age
use resources
full range weather (I'm wondering if this is working as I don't now recall seeing any weather changes. EDIT: Learned that the AltGfx random games do not support weather.)
normal world

Extra Settings Screen
continent size - small
humidity - normal
geological age - normal
limited roads <-- did not use this one as it disadvantages the AI.

In two of the games I played with these settings, one AI was able to beat up on two other AIs resulting in that particular AI having lots of PPs. I'm left wondering if Vic didn't tweak the AI just a little. Still no match for a human on standard AI setting which is what I played at.

Gentlemen,
I understand that some people have a life outside of the game. Still, the game hasn't moved at all in over a week.
I have been trying to keep from overloading myself with too many games, so that I might be able to expidite my multiplayer games directly. I understand that wives, kids and jobs all demand and deserve attention, but perhaps you might leave a quick word to let us know when we might expect our turns, so as to keep us from anxiously awaiting every day.
Hope to hear from you soon,
Meanfcker

Allan has informed me that he has surrendered. I agree. We kinda had an inferior position which you guys correctly analyzed and took advantage of. Good work.

The Eastern Empire has surrendered.
Does the Watchtower Supreme Commander wish to continue?
If not, All5n has indicated that he is interested in a rematch.
I have taken the liberty of completing my turn and sending off to Dan.
Please indicate your wishes.

As soon as this game has been ended by the Supreme Commander, we shall be posting our Legion Of Doom Operations folder online as an After Action Review. We hope that other players will be able to learn from it and that we can get some real rock an roll games going eventually.

Does anyone have any Idea how we can make a copy of a dropbox folder available to the forums?
I clicked on the upload file button but it seems to be disabled.

I am guessing that Kraftwerk will surrender as well. Good game guys. I will be posting an extensive AAR at meanfcker.com in a day or two (I have a few games on the go and they interfere with website development).
I will try to sort it so that anyone can post big AAR's there, so feel free to sort yours and post it when I put site up.
It was a tough break for Allan. We considered him to be our most dangerous opponent and therefore we all jumped on him as hard as we could.
I hope that after reveiwing our Operations folder you gentlemen will be interested in trying again, perhaps in a week or so.
Thanks for a good game.

Supreme Commander, Legion of Doom,
Meanfcker.

Hey guys, I have posted a semi revised version of our Operations folder in the game folder which you all have access to.
Look it over and let us know when you are ready to try again. I will check with you in a few days.

First, thanks for sharing this information. I've not digested all of it yet but enough to know that you guys have taken team play to a whole new level. Three things I immediately see:

1) the team has a command structure that it members adhere to and follow.
2) a critical examination of the map that informs attack/defense plans.
3) a solid understanding of ATG game mechanics that result in effective battle formations and production priorities.

Any team playing a game vs a Meanfcker lead team best learn these lessons. I reason this is why you shared this information so as to raise the level of play of your opponents.

Well done!

Thank you for the endorsement and yes, that is exactly why we decided to make it available.
As you read through, please do not take offense at any of my comments. I was equally harsh in examining my own mistakes in the final AAR(which will appear in final revised AAR). None of my comments were intended to wound, they were merely the product of a cold and impartial examination of the decisions made, mostly by myself and by the Watchtower Supreme Commander.
I hope to make this available to all of the members of our community in a couple of days. I registered meanfcker.com and I am trying to set up a site where we may all post our AAR's.
Meanfcker.

Hi guys,
Any idea if or when you might like to try again?
This was by far the best game for practicing Operational level warfare that I have yet experienced.
Really looking forward to our rematch.
Paul.

hopefully before sunday.
CarlVon and I have been working on a combat manual to help teach our style of "gun-fu".
We intend to post that as well, it should be a great help to new players, maybe make it easier to get into.

Hey Roy,
I have been working on the combat manual most of the night and a revised edition is on the site.
I still cant get the site to show up here, but CarlVon can see it. I hope I can see it soon too. :-(
I appreciate any help you can give as that will allow me more time for crushing my opponents.
Do you know how to help me set up a ftp server (I have downloaded the zilla one) so that we can make this site available for uploading to the other gamers?
And where the heck is Hatem? Anyone know?
Paul

An rough version of our 3 v 3 AAR is now availble at meanfcker.com .
Please excuse the primitive nature of the site, my real skillset is good for destroying armies, not creating web sites.
Enjoy.

We now have a team: JReid, All5n and myself. We desire to move first since your team is considered the more experienced. Vic is interested in following this game so maybe we should post an ongoing report in the AAR forum. He is particularly interested in seeing how cavalry is used and how it performs. Give us the game setup parameters and our Supreme Commander (not decided yet) will create the game. Also send us the emails of your team members. You have my email address if you don't wish to post them here.

Being the first class A-hole that I am, what makes you think that I intend to use cavalry in my next game?
Now that you are expecting them, I may or may not use any........

I can't wait for a rematch. Soon we will have Glory! All of us! I think it's fair they go first. However, just to let you know... Meanfcker will turn that in to a trap. Don't ask me how, I just follow orders.
