The Allied Kendari Garrison Bln was enjoying their breakfast and my Sonia's paid them a visit. I may as well run some troops out there
and finish them off.

The Sumatra isn't showing up on the list of sunk ships so I guess it's still laboring away somewhere.

Mersing was empty so this is an anti-climax. With Mersing down there's only Singapore left. I just need to get my people down there
and start bombarding I guess.

Okie dokie Jim I'm through posting combat results.... you can post your analysis stuff now if you'd like.

Here's one of those analysis post's now. This is 6Feb compared with 7Feb and you can see the numbers change and the trends are
revealed. Oil levels are going up, Miri is being repaired, resources are being harvested, etc.

EDIT:
Miri:
The number of oil refineries has increased from 176 to 177 and the same change was seen for the number of Oil Centers.
The fuel level went up, supplies went down, and the oil level increased dramatically from 4764 to 21014.

Palembang:
Oil centers and oil refineries increased by one, sevice damage was decreased by 5, fuel level decreased by 3K,
supplies decreased by about 1K, oil level decreased by about 1K indicating some harvesting of oil, and the
resources level increased by about 400.

Brunei:
Mostly the change was a dramatic increase in oil level.

Balikpapan:
Mostly an increase in oil level by about 1K.

Tarakan:
Mostly the oil level changed by 10, an increase.

Here's a list of the Army planes that aren't ready listed by biggest city first and descending. There's a couple of them in China. I'm
thinking I may have moved the planes from that Permanent Soviet Garrison situation toward the West and didn't give enough due
dilligence in making sure that they would have some AF dudes where I moved them to. I'm finding out now that you can't leave them
parked at airfields like that for very long as you're going to have some get damaged and then not fixed. Just sitting on the tarmac
awaiting parts or something. I'm moving AF dudes to those kinds of places to get the planes fixed so I can move them again.

Hey Jim: ( and all you other guys too ): I'm going through the list of TF's moving the ships, well, actually plotting the destinations of the
TF's, and listening to the Presidential Debate on YouTube and it's over now and I'm not sure who "won" the debate. They both gave me
the impression of being used car salesmen or snake oil salesmen or whatever, you know what I mean.....anyway I'm wondering if maybe
we could do a sort of informal poll of our readers to see what the opinions are. On the other hand, that might not be such a good
idea....forget I said anything. I'm thinking of voting for Ron Paul myself 'cause that way I'll have voted for the guy I really want and you
won't be able to blame me for helping to elect the wrong guy no matter who gets in. Actually, I'm wondering if it really makes a difference
who gets elected anymore what with all the members of the American Government being meer puppets and all.

I bought a bunch ( 15 ) of landing barges........I figure I'll use them to help move the cargo around in those island chains south of the
Celebes. That way the transports can concentrate on the longer-ranged routes.

Umm sure - AS soon as you send me the combat replay! LOL!

I'm not complaining, I enjoyed the AAR entries, I've even missed posting the 2-6-42 (that combat report I have - no excuses!)

CL Sumatra had not sunk as of the 6th, Obviously its going to Sorbebaja to repair - but it did excellent work at sea... I thought I put enough LRCAP to protect it, obviously not!

You might want to consider awarding them an award. Say the Distinguished Service metal......for all the ships sunk in one turn etc.

Break break......I've sent the combat stuff you you just now. File #1 and the combat report. Lemme know if you don't get them.
Although I see you're posting stuff from the combat report which is, like, a clue that you actually did receive them the first time. No
problem on the re-send though. Enjoy.

I'm using AKE's to rearm the ships when they return from their bombardment missions. I have about three of them parked at the
destination port and I've been sending them one at a time for more supplies when they get about 1/2-way low. I''m going through
supplies in the AKE's like they're peanuts. Those ships use supplies like there is no tomorrow when they do bombardment. But it's a
needed suppliment to my ongoing efforts to dislodge your troops. I think it's helping greatly.

EDIT: Here's all the AKE's I own. I don't remember having any at game start so all these ships should be converted ships.

After careful research and review, Dutch = Belgium...who knew? I (thought) I knew the Netherlands were Dutch )

A tall portly splendiferiously attired Dutch Admiral who's holding a box with Award pictured below announces;

(Since I can't speak Dutch, feel free to use your imagination... and NOT like that!) a casually interpretive statement would be...

"To the Captain and Crew of the CL Sumatra, we award our Brothers in Arms who performed heroically in the seas near Soerabaja the Medaille Maritime Belgique... blah blah blah, blah blah BLAH! LONG Live the KING!

EDIT: to try to insert this photo of the Maritime Medal I D/L from the Wikipedia website

Those bases with a red box around them on the left have a refinery and the others are bare oil centers
On the righta red box means that the base has no oil center. So places like Bangkok will have to have
oil shipped in to them in order to get any fuel output from them after they run out of intrinsic oil.

Here's something I don't like to do all that much....use my AK's as bait. Here we have a TF on it's way to Palembang and they have to
traverse the strait where there's an Allied sub. I have a couple of escorts and there's multiple ASW assets in the Allied sub hex so I don't
feel ALL that bad about running across a known Allied sub but it's still ify. I'm going to use the AK's as bait to get the Allied sub to try
something so my remaining ASW assets can get a better crack at him. I don't know what's going to happen and I'll keep you guys
posted on what happened.
