I think I've found a data display problem in the ship repair screens. I've got a ship (xAK Wind Rush) at Noumea with damage that can't be repaired there. She also got upgraded (I think). As a result the "Ships Under Repair" screen shows her with a red 3X under days to repair. This number is counting down as expected.
BUT, under the individual ship display, all that shows under "Current Repair Estimate:" is a red X (no repair). Ordinarily, this implies that the ship can be changed from “Stood down” to “Pier Side.” Except I can’t make that change. So I believe the 3X is correct. The inability to power the ship back up was driving me crazy until I happened to notice the 3X.
Other than the “Oh, dear what’s going on NOW,” aspect this is only annoying. Still, it will probably create some panic and despair.
On a related note, what’s the difference between a red 1X (No repair) and just X (No repair)?
