Status: offline 		Went to California Adventure yesterday. Pretty fun, but pricey. Definitely "hipper" that D'land. Cars Land has some serious set design. A TeePee motel, retro gas station etc. Music is defintely better too. Retro stuff from the 50's and 60's you never heard before. You walk from one area to another and the music changes and somehow you can't hear the music from the other area. Fantastic sound quality too. You sit down on a bench and it sounds like you have headphones on in some places.

There was a group of drummers and DI guy dressed up like "Green Army Men" from Toy Story. They guy was hilarious...he was like the DI from Full Metal Jacket without the four letter words and sexual insults and physical assualts. He walked up to a Marine in dress uniform and got in his face, "What does that say on your shirt, soldier? UUUUnited States Marien Corps..well we all make mistakes"

$7 for a Sam Adams. Not a good place for drinking.

He served with 805 Sqn in North Africa and became an instructor at HMS Heron. Temporarily attached to 165 (Ceylon) Sqn RAF, he was killed in action on 26.11.43, aged 26, when shot down in Spitfire IX MH905 (SK-G). He is buried in St Charles de Percy War Cemetery, grave II.B.10. A memorial near the crash site, dedicated on 8th May 1995, is maintained by pupils, ex-pupils and others associated with Charterhouse.

Uggh. Two brothers lost 2 years apart. Can you imagine the grief for the parents?

Oz: Damaged Portland was attacked by a sub as she headed for Sydney. Usually I have ships transiting that area stay inside the barrier reef. Not sure if I erred here or a boatload of LYB's got inside the reef. At least she didnt sink outright. maybe she can put in at Rockhampton or Brisbane and patch up. Status: offline 		No turn yet. I did find the details of the B-17 midair in which an uncle I never knew was killed. He had just graduated high school in '43. Apparently, one of the engines sat there for 50-60 years until it gradually sunk into the soil like an iron age sword.

Status: offline 		To her credit Princess Anne seems to get it. A Horsa glider with 33 aboard was lost at Greenham 3 days before the B-17 crash that took 16. Sure enough, there is a monument with the names of the 16 lost on the left. Family lore is he was on a mission during the Battle of the Bulge. That would have to be mythology unless 8th Air Force knew something Eisenhower didn't (Dec 15, 1944)

Status: offline 		Sorry for the Hijack, and i dont want to slow down the AAR, but i have a quick off subject question for all the Lawyers , Indian Chiefs, and Doctors. ( better known as Lawyers, Guns and Money).

Recent letter from my Primary Care Doc stated that he and another tickler were going to start there own clinic. To reduce overhead and costs, they would not be accepting Medicare or Medicade patients, and only a limited number of insurance companies. They are both older and have made there loot i suspect, but this seems like it will not be allowed to play through.
My questions?

Is this legal, and will our rulers allow this to become standard? How long before a law is passed stating that a Doctor must accept a percentage of medicare patients ( if not already a law)? Can the Lawyers make money from the Indian Chiefs for suing someone over this?

Status: offline 		Indian Chiefs are still permitted to opt out of Medicare if they judge wampum (or the regulatory burden) to be worse than sweat lodge ceremony. Up to now, this has chiefly been an issue with the more warlike tribes like the Apache (sturgeons). 7th Cavalry takes a very dim view of anyone leaving the reservation and won't let them back on for a whole year (last time I heard).

Medicaid is different as the states have to chip and the wampum is generally worse than 4 day old buffalo liver in August.

Chiefs who leave reservation have to provide adequate time and support for squaws and braves to find new Chief or risk an abandonment claim.

Your Chief may be opting for "Boutique practice" where he takes many fewer patients and patients sign a contract where they pay a goodly retainer up front and then came come in anytime for quick rectal exam or other fun things.

As for 7th Cavalry. It is now quite obvious they can do whatever they want
