GMT games are fantastic. When you think of how much it must cost in publishing a board wargame, then add shipping aswell. True gents and stars in the wargaming community.

They've done this every year for the past four years I think.

I think it is very generous.
Why don't the computer developers with possibility to deliver the product for free are not doing this?

Les is right, there is always "abandon ware" and "freeware" but there are also quite a few modern games that could just as well be given away for free, or maybe say 5 bucks.
Goodwill advertising for free.

Josh..GMT let you choose any two from any games instock, a couple of years ago I got Battle for Normandy and Leaping Lemmings..TBFH is listed at $145 then think shipping to the UK..so really abandon ware\freeware or still charging $5 for a new title wouldn't be in the same league. Plus the whole pointt if they are free and don't charge anything because they know it's going o people where are penny counts let alone every pound.

iirc this is for “existing” customers, so unless you’ve supported GMT in the past when times were good or are a registered customer ………….
