First off, I'm really enjoying the game. Cool design, very immersive.

Some small issues while playing central powers:

1) The casualty report seems flawed. I never see vehicles nor the correct number of planes destroyed.

2) Destroyed a British convoy just off the Egyptian Coast with my cruiser. It brought up the unrestricted warfare special event which I thought had to be triggered by submarines. (I have attached a save file - hit "end turn" and the convoy will appear the subsequent AI turn)

3) Distributing focus points for the central powers:
Changing the focus of research within one category takes 2 FP for Turkey and only 1 FP for Germany and Austria. (can be checked in the same save file)

4) Playing a winter turn I reloaded an earlier save and the map was shrouded in white as well (it was October then)

It's purely triggered by attacks on merchant shipping, not limited to subs.

Thanks for the hint. However, my battleship doesn't trigger the event. So, this must be a bug then.

It isn't triggered immediately. It gets triggered after a certain amount of damage has been done to convoys. If you keep it up, you'll see a second warning after a second (higher) threshold is passed.

Hmmm...strange. Following situation: damaged the convoy with the battleship , finished it off with the cruiser = event triggered without a warning. Reloaded the save: damaged the convoy with the cruiser, sunk it with the battleship = no event triggered, no warning. So, the damage was obviously the same but with two results. It was the first convoy attacked by me. If you look at the save it will be clearer. Hit the end turn, convoy shows up and have a go...
