I would love to see someone design some maps for Moscow 1941. At the time I think the German's were only 20 miles from the city. I would like to see a campaign of the Axis actually invading Moscow. Now I have played many Stalingrad battles and have even had overwhelming wins there assaulting. I think Moscow would be a great "what if" scenerio. The capture of the city and their leader who refused to leave could have been the death blow for the Soviet Union.

There is a mini campaign already on this from M4 Jess, which I think is in November's Dirty Dozen from Redleg's site. I have the zip at home, but with the holiday season full blown upon me that's at least 12 hrs away. I'll try to post the zip tonight unless someone beats me to it.

:D

I just located a pretty good pre-war map of Leningrad and have it in mind to make a map of that city. Not the same as you mentioned, but a similar notion.

Welllll, experienced a few difficulties trying to attach that zip file. Couldn't get it to go. I will attempt later if the folks at Matrixland can get the size issue resolved.

I think (not sure mind you) that the forum may have put a new size restriction on zip files to combat an overall "space issue"....though Gmenfan was still looking into it the last I heard. :(

Goblin, is that something that each original posting author needs to do or is it sorta scrubbed out by the moderators after a while?

I think the forum admins can just point at a post and *POOF*, its gone. If they went over to AAR/DAR and just deleted old threads, it would maybe get our smileys back...:( (X5)

I believe that the original poster can choose to delete a post on his own, but not a poll.

that is an option that is available...but is not "turned on" by the administrator. Therefore the Admin Boys are the only ones who can wave their magic wanes...:D...and make things go *POOF*.

Gmenfan said that there had been no new size restrictions imposed that he had been made aware of...and after all our bitchin' I'm sure he'll foward our "Delete everything else, but give us back the smilies" request. :p (Since we know first hand that at least the smilies have been restricted.)
