Just got ATG. Although I had ATWW2 for a while I'm a complete newbie with the editor. I would like to modify the ptmaster file. Mostly I'd like to change some unit properties.

I opened the editor and don't have a clue. It shows a blank scenario with nothing to indicate how to open the ptmaster file or what to do with it.

The manual doesn't explain anything either. It tells what things are but not how to open or edit anything. I read all the help and tutorial files in the forum and they weren't helpful either.

A lot of people on this forum know how to do what I'd like to do. Can someone please explain how?

In the settings menu, you have to "disconnect" the master file (choose no master file). It allows you to modify the file as you want.

That's the trick I was talking about in the other thread.

And more questions.

The editor comes with the classic pt file. I assume I need to add the correct one before disconnecting.

So I loaded the generic ptmaster. Then I pressed to blue button and cancel to unload the master file.

Did I get this right? Are the properties for the generic ptmaster then available to edit?

Then I made some changes.

But how do I save to a new ptmaster file? I don't see a save button anywhere.

Another question. I would like all random games to begin with all sides at war with each other. It looks like I need to add an event but have no idea how to word it. Can someone please help with that?
