I have a scenario that I have edited and continue to fine tune. I happened the change something in a user scenario and then loaded a saved game based off of that scenario. A text box popped up during the loading screen that asked if I wanted to apply recent database changes to this scenario. I thought that was a nice addition by the most recent patch. But when the saved game finally opened nothing had been updated. Any tips or other people seeing the same thing?

It depends on what kind of updates you have done.

Devices will reflect their new stats, but not pool numbers
Ships- need to be upgraded in game to show changes
aircraft will show stat changes but not pool or build changes
bases can not be updated in games, nor can they be added. LCU will not support any updated devices, however you can upgrade the unit turns into and it will support the adjusted oob.
Leaders and Pilots can not be added in game.
Changing new pilot numbers will not take place within current year, I believe that they will go to the new (updated) number when you enter a new year, but have not tested that.

Will these database changes work with any of the DaBabes scenarios?

The database changes will only work with the senario that you have adjusted. I would always suggest against saving over any mods. Any work that I have done, I saved under a different (new) senario number, that way I can always go back to the original and restart if I mess something up or can't remember wshat I have done. That and I'd rather not pollute someone else's work with my "experiments".

The original senarios you have to do this with as they're slots can not be save over. I believe the 1st 25 senario slots are hard coded with this protection.

The answer, which of course everybody here will be sure to howl about is: The practical Game answer is No. The real answer is Yes, but you will never see why or how in this forum. If you are serious about understanding this, go to the Mod Forum for answers.
