Okay........here's the situation and the game plan: I'm going to branch off a DD to escort the AO w/o one, construct a surface TF that is
BB-heavy and leave some DD's as ASW for the carriers and the surface TF will ram their way into Canton Island and the carriers will
move south a bit more and launch if possible ( the weather forecast said heavy clouds ). Then the surface force will retire toward the
northern Allied TF and the carriers will pick off the survivors of the ramming operation above. The AO will make knots toward the
carriers and refuel everybody. What did I forget?

Here's those new islands I have picket out for new sources of resources. All I have to do is take them and the resources are mine. I'm
wondering about that island just south of Singapore.......whether or not it's connected to the mainland or not. Matters not I guess.

And here's an unequal fight. I was just investigating the Allied TF, recon by combat as it were, and it turned out to be an AK. Cool.

There were a couple of night air attacks on Darwin. I don't know why I'm attacking at night for, he's got no CAP to speak of. Just because
I can I guess. There's only three Nells left and they wanted to be useful doing SOMETHING so I let them attack at night.

Canton Island saw some action last night. I totally ran over an Allied TF there at the island and it looks like there's another opportunity
to do some of the same again as there is another two Allied TF's on the radar.

I have plans on eventually attacking that Allied unit near Gasmata and I thought I'd soften it up somewhat.

There's a new situation around Singapore. Jim has split up his mini-KB and some of it seems headed for Colombo and some of it sailed
down to near Singapore itself and I'm guessing that's the part that might have some carriers in it. As it happens my carriers are around
Mersing and I can reverse course and drive south to near Singkawang and take advantage of some of my land-based air power for some
defense. I've got a lot of sensitive shipping in that area, TK's are going back and forth from Palembang to CRB and I need to protect
them as best I can. Even if that means I have to lose a carrier to do it.

TF 196 is going to be pulling into Malang sometime late tonight w/ the 4th Inf Rgt to be unloaded. And then after a short rest they will be
marching to Soerabaja and into combat. I'm hoping that the addition of these additional troops will get the advance started after it's been
stalled for so long. I've really stretched myself too thin on the ground. I'm going to have to save up my PP's to buy out some more
troops from Manchuria or somewhere.

It's my understanding that the Allied CV, the Indomitable, sank from this attack. Lucky hit.

Lack of proper prior planning produced this pitiful picture. Lemme try it again. Oh, and by the way, the transport that got hit is still
trucking on to Truk.

And then there was a daytime air attack on Darwin.........and by the way, I just noticed that all the naval bombarding has knocked 10 of
Darwin's Resource Centers off-line. So now Darwin's engineers have something else to work on besides fortifications.
