I notice that the Battleship Royal Sovereign (launched in 1915) spent the years 1944 to 1949 as the Soviet Navy's Arkangelsk.

In the game, will it be possible to arbitrarily assign ships to opposing forces? So that, say, in 1949, the Arkangelsk could be a Russian (or Chinese or Australian) ship?

Or even have the case where there are two identical opposing forces built of the exact same ships? As in:

BAsic ships A B C D

Force A = A B C D

Force B = A B C D

???

Yes, and yes. The countries listed for each platform in the database are for guidance only, they do not restrict you from assigning any unit to any arbitrary side.
