link to download the mod: CCTLDModMIR_12v1.2.exe It is an exe file, that creates a seperate folder inside your game directory, creates its own shortcut so dont be afraid it will overwrite your files etc, but still, make backup always! While waiting for the GJS MOD, I have created a sub mod of WaR for multiplayer games. My goal was to create a campaign, where both sides are equal, therefore now both sides have not only exacly the same amount of equpment, soldiers, but also equpment, morale, experience etc are the same. Disadvantage is that Germans use allied weapons, but I didnt have time to mod each weapon to have the same statistics (I had time only for modding vehicles, so now Mark IV has EXACLY the same statistics as Sherman, and Panther as Firefly, Mark III as Stuart and so on). As I said it was made for "competition", and main target was ballance. Also I have made some minor changes to original zcharles mod: elements.txt -small hedne blocks LOS -guns hinder higly increased weapons.txt -At weapons can fire at anything -no firing animation for sniper rifles, effective range 300m -bazooka range 160, Shreck 200, PB at 130, accuracy highly improved. Up to 100m its quite effective -naval barrage=mortar barrage -rifles highly improved soldiers.txt -mortar ammo reduced to 6 HE and a few Smoke rounds als/axs.txt -Snipers changed from Leader Asst to commander -bazooka team has command vehicles.txt -guns armour increased - front, side and top armoour. So if you attack a gun from front you will mostly suppress enemy, maybe kill somebody. From side you have quite a chance and from rear:100% chance of success Basically, Guns are now very important weapons! Morat support will probably kill half ot the team. MGs are effective weapons. -cars armour reduced. I killed a halftruck with mortar support 1 per 5 supports campaign.txt no suprised, no redirection, all the same can use resupply ver 1.1 76mm AT gun is set to medium (was light) VER 1.2 Recycle Disbanded BGs: YES added flame HTs to both sides (3 per large infantry BG and 1 per small inf and recon BGs) (allies: flame carrier) Changes in scenario itself (no para drop). 4 less tanks in large armoured BG Added vickers/HMGs -------------------------------------------------------------------------- We have now (List of BGs.jpg): -15x If BG (just a few halftrucks, med AT Guns, snipers) - they are marked "0" and "0sm" for small infantry BGs -4x Recon BG (Greyhounds, stuarts, snipers)- they are marked "1" -7x Armoured - they are marked "2" and "2sm" for small armoured BGs -6xpara (no halftrucks, only light guns but high morale)- they are marked "4" File BGs composition.jpg shows exacly what teams are in each Battle Group (here is an example of allies, but germans have all teh same, except names) And file list of teams for both sides.jpg shows what allied teams corresponds to german one enjoy! :) PS We have already finished the grand campaign after around 6 months of real time of fights...
