Every time I end a battle in Winter War it CTD. When I go back in it shows I have won a medal and it's ready for the next battle.

I'm assuming "CTD" means "crash to desktop"? If this is correct I think you would get more responses by spelling it out instead of acronyming it.

I don't have a solution either, but CTD isn't an acronym, Wings. Its an initialism. An acronym is where the initial letters form a new word - NATO ( Nay-toe ) being the most often quoted example. NASA is another.

Sorry to hijack your thread Deputy...and I knew what CTD meant.

Some campaigns do this, I think it's a missing file, but haven't had time to look into it much. I used to play a lot of campaigns, and remember this happening.

Thanks Warhorse. I seem to have found a workaround by letting it go through it's "normal" game procedures when the battle has ended. Previously, I was clicking the mouse to skip all the cutscenes and advertising. I suppose I should have said that I was using version 1.020B of the game, but I was afraid the answer was gonna be "use the newest version." I don't like the newest version so that would be no help. It's really not a big deal. I just re-enter the game and it proceeds to the next battle and my awards show up normally. Just one of many weird glitches.

BTW....CTD is a commonly used abbreviation for Crash To Desktop. If you have been using East Front/West Front or most any other games for that matter, CTD should be very familiar to you.
