Legaspi: Unloading of troops had to be suspended becuase of IJN DD's about 400 mi out to the NE. This raid was broken up. The diversionary aspect of the Legaspi landing has worked pretty well..although the 1st Marine Tank Bn. might not see it that way.

I am now stationed at Hilton Head in case the LYB's try to land on the east coast.

A fine example of Sounthern poise and charm in Savannah. In defense of Savannah they are probably visitors.

Did you inquire regarding her bleaching status? You should preface such questions with, "You can tell me, I'm a Doctor" for greater acceptance.

I would check with M&M Enterprises. I heard they were selling the deeds for an iron dome(Yura) device. Rumors are they contacted that longfellow guy whom made research into such. It could be dangerous if it falls into enemy hands Mandrake!

Kind regards,

Rasmus

Nice moves north towards Manila.

What have you learned recently in this battle for the Philippines? Doesn't seem like much the japanese are doing is delaying or punishing you.

I watched the replay. I cant' tell if we started unloading yet at Lucena as we own the place. One thing is for sure, there is no chance we are fully dismebarked. This means we need a continued surface presence there.

The two fast USN BB's will have expended some of their main gun ammo and there is at least one IJN BB extant in the area. The CA group that bombarded Clark needs to rearm so we need the BB's to remain on station if possible.

Here is the question: How many "rounds" are needed in the magazine for the BB's to stay and fight?

There are parts there that NEVER see the sun. Of this I am quite sure.

Besides, look at those massive sloping traps on her date. You think I am going to start a fight with that guy?

You know how women turn a map around so they can "point it" in their direction of travel....well, they do the same thing with an I-phone with mapping function running. The thing is, an I-phone has an accelerometer so it tries to compensate for the...oh what's the word....geographical ineptitude of the user. Pretty soon North is at the 4'oclock position and you have every outlet mall noted on the map.

I think it senses the two X chromosomes too. In any event, the learning here is NEVER EVER let your wife or GFU navigate with the I-phone unless you are TRYING to break up.

Eating about 2500 calories a meal on this trip. The good news we are only eating 4x a day.

Went to Uncle Bubbas Oyster Shack near Savannah yesterday. Had oysters grilled in the half shell with butter and parmesan. Dayam! Those were good. Oyster stew was good too although there was about 1/2 inch of melted butter floating on the top. They should stir that up so you dont know what you are eating.

More than half of the mag capacity and they're likely to stick around. Less and they'll de-de for home. Some of this probably depends on the aggressiveness of the commanding officer / TF commander, but I couldn't tell you how much.

...and don't just look at gun ammo on the TF display. That gives you overall ammo. Have a look at the individual ships to see main gun ammo.

I still remember vividly the arguments in the front seat during the age of impossible for a guy to refold gas station maps.

You know how women turn a map around so they can "point it" in their direction of travel....

Never, Never, when giving directions to a woman, use terms such as "north", "south", "east" or "west". You'll just confuse them. You need to give directions relative to something (malls are particularly useful here).

There is actually an anthropomorphic basis for this. Men were hunters - they ranged far and wide, and were used to using the sun, etc. to find their way around. Women were gatherers, going down the path and hanging a left at the big rock to get to the berry patch, and so on.

They should stir that up so you dont know what you are eating.

...that's actually quite low Cap, for a foraging expedition in the deep south!!! have you discovered what a "grit" is yet?

Well, yeah...when the aforementioned female subject sits on the beach it's what will fill that crack...
