Playing Operation Cartwheel scenario and 3 CVEs just arrived with no planes? Why would this be? Arnt these small escort carriers? If I load cosairs onto them they will act as any other larger carrier right? But why would they show up in theatre with no planes?

Yep, you can load Corsairs on these CVE - even if some players find it quite unhistorical - I read somewhere that Corsairs were not cleared for CV operations at that time ...
