Anybody here read Scott Westerfeld's Leviathan trilogy? It would be a hoot to see this authors alternate WW1 modded for this engine. Living blimps with flachete bats vs bi-planes. Giant bears vs walking mech. It was a pretty good story, if you liked Hunger Games you'd probably like this as well.

Yes, I'm in the process of reading the Leviathan trilogy right now. I think they are a good read. I also like steam-punk stories in general. If you have any interest in miniature board games, there is also a new one called Leviathan's Monsters in the sky about flying battleships, its one of the reasons I got interested in the Westerfield novels.
