Hello Erik,

First to mention is that i really enjoy the game, its great and has a very deep gameplay (that is a rare thing nowadays). But I have a question for you, as your answer will determine if ill buy Shadows (but its not the point) and I believe it will boost interest to the DW even more.
The biggest thing for me in single-player games is modding capability, its the only thing that can make game live for decades (just my opinion). I believe that even now you are thinking about next expansion and I remember you mentioned that it (and the last one i believe) will be modder oriented, so im curious, about what level of modding we are talking? Is it just another possibility to change the "look" and atmosphere of the game or it will be a true tool to make a game of our dreams.
Will we be able to add new technologies?
Will we be able to alter ship components properties?
Will we be able to add new weapons? weapon effects?
Will there be possibility to change the core game mechanics?
Will we be able to change how AI behaves?
etc

I know, that even half of "yes" for upper mentioned questions will make me and many other buy Shadows and the next expansion, enjoy it and be a very loyal community.

And what features do you plan, except modding capabilities?

We're hoping to be able to do at least half of that list for the next expansion. It is unfortunately too early to be able to promise any specific feature, but our goal is to take it as far as we can.
