When the Buy New ships popup raises AND when I not have enough money to buy that ships, if I open the Build Ships Window through that popup all categories available show zero ships to buy. Is this working as intended or is a little bug?

And by extension, Advices for buy ships for more money that a player have is working as intended? I'm not remember Legends doing that.

Yes, I noticed the same thing. Advising me to spending 50,000 on ships when all I had was 2000. In previous versions the ship builder always stayed within existing monetary limits.

Based on what I've seen before, the recommendations are not dependent on how much money you have. I think the AI looks at the size of your empire and how many ships you have, ans suggests how many more ships you need for an empire of that size.

Although I like to think my admirals are demanding more warships even at the threat of deficit spending.

I was somehow making money while my empire income was consistently -3k to -10k and my bonus income didn't look like it was enough to cover it but somehow it did. I kept getting recommendations to build more ships but when I opened it there were zero ships selected.

I sort of had the opposite happen.
I had the money, and when I clicked on the pop-up, it listed all ships at 0.
I suppose it's because although I had some stocks (from raiding or just starting resources), I didn't have a stable supply of the materials needed.

I've noticed this as well - ideally the advisor shouldn't suggest ordering ships that you don't have money for.

However - if the advisor popup appears while you DO have money, but they are used elsewhere in the meantime and you leave it hanging for a bit before clicking it - I'd call it WAD, working as designed.

'Build ships for 0 credits'

The advisors could do with a slight re-adjustment for the Age of Shadows.

I'm getting alot of suggestions to build ships such as explorers before I even have a spaceport.

Just script from the earlier games that still thinks I should have those ships, without taking into consideration that I can't build them yet.
