I kinda wanted to play FITE but I don't want to spend all the time that scenario takes to play it. I'm coming from some recent
experience w/ War in the East and wanted to see if I could tweak the Barbarosa 41 scenario to give it more supply for
the Axis side. I made some changes to the OOB by giving some RR engineers to the AA units and the engineers. They can repair
rail faster that way. So this will be a playtest of the changes I made to the scenario. It may prove to be interesting.

Here's the opening setup. I'm hoping I can be at Riga by turn two. Let's see if I can do that.

I gave some Rail Repair crews to the HQ units so they can fix the rail a little faster.

This "movie" is to contrast the opening positions w/ the positions in turn 1 after one round of movement. Combat is the next thing to do.

And the change due to combat in the southernmost area in round one:

EDIT: 80% of turn one is left after round one's combat phase.

This is the front lines at the start of turn 2 ( the north area ): It appears that Elmer has been busy blowing bridges already.

All I had to do is drive my Panzers into the city proper to capture it. Losing Minsk should bump the Soviets reinforcements down by
about 10% or so.

Elmer is trying to stall me at Riga but I've got sufficient firepower present to subdue the defenders post haste.

Here's the front lines just north of the marshes. I'm trying to get a surround going on all the defenders so that the lost equipment that
usually goes to the supply pool won't. This is a game of inches and every little bit helps.

WITP:AE's loss is TOAW's (re)gain. Welcome back, Larry. (I think.)

Hey there Berto dude. Actually, I still have a WITP-AE PBEM game going on right now and I'm not sure but I think I'm winning. I'm the
Jap player and it's hard to tell if you're winning or not because the situation in China is fluid.

I'm having a hard time getting into the Axis side in this scenario. I'm thinking I'm going to have to go to FITE after all. We'll see
after a few more turns.

I came back to TOAW because it is my first love. I can't leave it for long.

That's reassuring, even if you no longer have time to continue your entertaining WITP:AE AAR series. I thought that maybe your Allied PBEM opponent had dropped out.

Understandable.
