There are not many Beginner/Intermediate players on the forum at the moment mostly Hard Nosed Steely eyed Tankers.

I'll go for X-large random or something similar. I haven't played any pbem games, only a few against the AI. 1 on 1 or another player or two ok.

I would be happy to join in if you need more players. If you are playing 1v1v1 I would advise no alliances. Tho 2v2 is a fairer game

I just e-mailed Mantrain to see if he was still interested in a pbem game. Guess it takes awhile to get a game started. I'm not going anywhere so lets hope we get some interest.

Have played only against AI ... so I would consider me a little above a beginner, but not too much. Have played PBEM games in War Between the States, so I am familiar with that aspect of play. Contact me if there is an interest.

So how many players do we have I count 4 if Mantrain is in. If that the case just need to get a file started and E-Mailed 2v2. So far we have Medium Large Map with limited roads one city start. any other preferences ? I would suggest no naval element land mass only unless everyone would prefer a naval game

Team taking first turn to declare war within 4 turns

We have

I emailed bruce that a three way game might be starting. Told him to report to the board. Doesn't seem like mantrain is interested anymore.

Game options sound fine with me. Does the no navel option make for a better game?
Either way fine with me.

I tried setting up a pbem game just for kicks but didn't get too far. Couldn't find any instructions in the ATG Matrix forum on this subject. When the time comes if you want to set up the game that's fine with me. Otherwise I think I might need some instructions. Thanks.

Setting up a game is amazingly easy all I will need is a e-mail address to forward the next turn to. The turns are files generated at the end of each turn and forwarded to the next player. Your turns are password protected if you should inadvertently send your turn to another player it cannot be opened. If we cannot find a fourth player I am afraid it will be a 1v1v1 to make it simpler since you are both beginners I will declare War on both of you and leave myself open to a heavy defeat. So fingers crossed we find a fourth player.

Also add map shroud so the creator of the map cannot see the map created and give himself a advantage.

Iron Duke I sent you an E-mail. Having trouble opening the file. The computer couldn't find a program to open the file. I tried Adobe which didn't work. Message was Adobe not supported or file was corrupted. Then I tried "Open Freely" software which didn't work. Any ideas? Thanks.

@ atg548:
You have got the first turn? Then save it in folger Savedgames in ATG. Open the game and load the turn using the ingame option Load Saved Game. Dont open the file directly.

Order of play is

Ironduke
atg548
bcurson

atg548 has the first turn and will forward the turn to you once he has completed his. Once you have completed your turn forward it on to me and so on. You will need to enter your password keep that password secret and only reveal it under torture or pain of death.
