I am experiencing intelligence agents never completing their missions. I can assign them and get a target date as normal, but they often stay on the mission with no result, continuing well after the end date given - see screenshot below.

Missions sometimes are completed as normal, the problem is intermittent. I have been playing Distant Worlds since the release on the initial game on the same computer and have not had this problem before.

I have deleted and re-installed all the Distant World games and applied the 1.0.9.4 patch.

The problem seems to occur when choosing pirates in the age of shadows. I quickly tried the other three options and agents worked fine.

It says the mission was completed but the agents are not automatically going back to counter intel.

They always say 'completed xxxx'. As in 'this mission will be completed xxxxx'.

Anyway, I think this, as well as several other bugs and some crashes, are related to threading issues.

As Raap notes the text always says 'Completed <date>' even when you first assign agents, just at that point the date is in the future.

No idea what the cause it, but it is driving me up the wall. At the moment this and other bugs are so bad that I can't get an enjoyable game out of Shadows.

Hello tech support,

Still experiencing this, I have uploaded a save file with full details today - file name 'Ralzaraks Error 9 June 2013'.

And yes I do realise I have mis-spelt my own user name

Hi Ralzakark

The zipped savegames you uploaded appear to be shortcuts instead of the actual game files. Could you please reupload the savegames?
