ORIGINAL: Zeta16 Ok, have a games as the Allies coming to the end and have a current game as Japan in late 42. So I looking for a new game as the Allies. Like to play scen 2 in any form, have stock installed and a some type of mod installed, but would be willing to use about any mod to play. I am open to any house rules, but want to play someone who can play 4 or 5 or more turns a day. I like to play a lot when I play as one or two turns a day seems to drag on. I am a stay at home dad, who works a few hours here and there at a fitness center and refs American football. I am real good about giving notice to when I am not available. After my laptop arrives, I could play a game, a couple weeks till it gets here. If your still looking for a game then, I will post again. 4to5 turns every day is much, especially at the start, for the first few weeks 1 turn a day would be max, since all the fine tuning of pilots and getting units into position and such, leaders, training, pilots. After first couple weeks 4 turns a day 4 or 5 days out of every week would probably be doable. The time it takes to do a turn in 42 and 43 are much different. Although there would be some days with less turns, maybe some with more, in part because of the depth of the game and time for a turn. At 30 minutes a turn, maximum average speed, and the 10 minutes of playback install, and 10 minutes of tracking production and events in WITP tracker, that is around 4 hours every day to play 4 to 5 turns a day. With some good planning, it could be possible, the the timing itself makes that difficult to get 4 hours a day, if you wait an hour for a turn to return, then do a turn, and wait an hour, then do a turn. That is 8 hours a day with half that time playing the game. Although I have much time currently, and do know the game speeds up in 43 and onward. If you don't have an opponent within a couple weeks I would give a game a shot. quote:
"Ours was the first revolution in the history of mankind that truly reversed the course of government, and with three little words: 'We the people.' 'We the people' tell the government what to do, it doesn't tell us." -Ronald Reagan Note The error of that philosophy is to not recognize that corporations, are also forms of governments. If a corporation requires you to be 'owned'. if they want to set social policy by buying laws to then be written, or dictate actions of employees when not at some work. If you can see the corporate system as the actual factor of much of government, your comment would be against the corporate system also. And when you remove 'regulation' without addressing the problem of corporate consolidation, you really are moving power from 'elected government' to 'government ruled by money'. If one dollar equals one vote, eventually one person will have all the money, and everyone else would be in debt to them, and that debt would be used for social control.
