I have been (trying) to play this game for over 3 months. I do not give up easily. But to summarize it is the worst game I ever bought. Thank god I did not pay much for it, it is not even worth getting my money back.
3 reasons why it is so bad:
1. there are still (after patch 1.8) a great many bugs in both the tutorials and the main game. It is difficult to even select units sometimes. frequently the game just freezes.
2. The manual is badly written and not logically designed. It assumes a great deal of knowledge of military organization (eg armies/corps/divisions). These need to be explained and their inter relations.
3. There needs to be a walk through of an entire turn from the perspective of at least 3 sides. ideally this should be on paper separate from the game so that it can be followed step by step while you perform the actions on the screen. When the tutorials do not work, the manual is badly written and designed a detailed step by step walk through is essential
