can option "Give to" be exploited ?
like build completely useless ship,that have HUGE maintenance,then give it to someone and it will destroy that empire/pirate faction by eating up their $ ?i mean not just SINGLE ship,but whole armada !
all necessary (marked red) components (most outdated ones)then just stack armor until ship is full.

I don't know, do you think they might just scrap it? Or could they upgrade it?

But in any event, if you have enough resources and ship building capacity to give an armada to another empire to crush them economically, then you could probably beat them in a straightforward war. So I'd see it more as an alternative route to victory, rather than an exploit.

I have given ships to enemies to train up my fleet admirals.

Come to think of it... I have no idea if it even worked.
