We hate Australian ISP's. You would think moving one suburb would not cause so much trouble. I think getting his internet back on would have been easier if he had moved to Mars!

Mission Report:

My number 1 rule do not fly over anything you do not have to. Break the rule loss 18 planes from bomber command. I knew that airfield had a high number of HAA yet I still used it as a turning point. Dumb.

Day 60

Going after his pilots today sending 3 raids to hit 2 airfields I know he has planes on an an extra split off raid to a rail yard. 400+ fighters per raid protection

11 FS trying to cover the area he has to fly through to get at my bomber stream. Lots of spitfires to boost numbers and now that his fighters have been bled a bit they can do some damage.

FB are still recovering to full strenght maybe some will fly tommorow.

Glad to see that the two of you are back.

You have whipped the Luftwaffe. Congratulations. You hammer him every time he tries to oppose you. It appears that your main bane, at least during the daytime, is the HAA. Not much you can do about that, of course, except to avoid it as much as possible.

Any thoughts of a COBRA-like blitz? Maybe all your B-17's in one massive raid on a single division, and all your B-24's on an simultaneous attack on an adjacent division?

You'll have to excuse me. I think in the terms of the dramatic sometimes.

Anyhow, glad you guys are back at it.

Day 62:
Half way my pilots are tired and I am giving them the day off.

Some fighter bombers and a FS trap are all there is today.

Day 63

8th Airforce is free again.

I need to cause more target damage.

Heavy Raid 11 is heading to C.A.M.Ivry size 12 target.
Heavy Raid 12 is heading for Villeneuve rail yard again size 5 (1 of 2 this size inside overlord zone)
Heavy Raid 13 starts out following 11 and 12 then cut back to the power plant at Oissel (The main reason for this raid is to get his fighters into the air, as this raid will look like it is going after the PRI AF's in that area.)

FS have tried to fill in the areas between his PRI AF and my raids again (hopefully I have a bit more luck with timinig this time)

FS you will also notice a fighter/bombing raid against 1 of his twin engine bases down the bottom at Chat.Bernard, When the lift off they should meet a fighter sweep coming in. If he has already sent them they should run into my fighter sweep coming in.

FB Early day trap: The 21st panzer is the last armour unit on the right of the normandy line. I have attacked it a lot and he seems to be prepared to attack my FB units he spots coming across the chanel at this location. Today I have a large attack coming directly toward the 21st, at the last moment they will turn and run in at an armoured unit at the other end of the frontline. What I hope the German's do is launch their normal attack after these guy's, and pursue them over the normandy frontline into my waiting British patrols. I have 4 patrols set up, each has 2 squadrons of the best the british have to offer. 1 at 25000 thousand and 1 in cover 5000 higher.

Recon: I am reconning all the big industry sites so I can build a nice target list for the next time the 8th is free again

Mission Report:

Good bombing day for hitting targets all targets removed for a while.

FB are still taking large losses against his ground troops to what seems no gain

FS I am shooting down his fighters by the handfull but the FB losses still giving him a big lead in shoot downs.

Day 64

Today going after some more Target damage points. Targets 2 x 8 size oil storage and 1 x 40 rubber

While these are goin on I have a Havoc PRI AF raid cutting across any line of attack from the frence PRI AF with some luck he will run into this raid.

FS are positioned along the coast as I expect him to try and cut off the bombers as they come back over the ocean.

Cloud caused major problem today, missing the target I really wanted the rubber plant and most of the fighters not flying.
