How will we be notified if we are picked to be a beta tester? Will it be by our e-mail or be the forum.

They will email you, the first batch has already been added, they said they might add more - just wait to be emailed and see what happens :)

Man, they were quick on the draw to sign up. I signed up as soon as it was posted and missed the cut. Really looking or ward to this so I can finally put away Harpoon and Fleet Command once and for all. Release candidate or beta tester, looking forward to which ever comes my way soonest. Great job in getting this finally to a releasable state.

Matt

I didn't know until noticing I had access to the private beta forum, with historicon and all mailings have taken a back seat till it's over as far as I can tell. I am not the only one who found out this way so keep your eyes open.

Same here. I knew it was a slim chance as I just found this game and the forums but I had to make an attempt. And I did look but I see no beta forum lol. Too bad. Was looking to check out some air combat stuff vs real life options

You know, there's also some tedious testing, bug submissions & stuff involved.

You're right of course. Thats what makes it a beta test :)

Still, doesn't mean I wouldnt want to see how certain things work and if there's any issues/suggestions that pop up compared to real life experience to improve the simulation. But I can be quite anal (so to speak) about getting things right which matches the tedious testing haha

Either way: keep up the good work, everyone will have their day when it comes :)

Isn't that part of the fun of beta testing? Along with the early access....

Can't wait for this release.

I only hope the Beta test has a PDF instruction book that I can print. Hopefully its nothing crazy like WITP AE was.

LOL. Working on it.

We're finishing up a new full build so the new wave doesn't have to worry to much about applying updates on day one. Will send out our invites to our final wave one we get it in place.

M

I applied about ten days ago. I've beta'd Wargame ALB, Ghost Recon Online, Payday 2, Prison Architect and DCS A-10C but I'm particularly looking forward to testing this, if I make the cut, as new, high-fidelity modern-era battlefield simulators/wargames are a rare event these days.

Hi guys,

The application simply gets you in the queue. There's no set time as to when we take testers from the queue and add them into the test team, but when the next wave is added, it's first in first out so signing up earlier gives you a better chance of being added sooner. We also limit the size of each wave so not all testers in the queue are added when we do add another wave. The new beta system is a way to reserve a slot, basically. Make sure you check your e-mail as when you are added into the team, you'll receive an e-mail from us with all the info on how to participate.

Regards,

- Erik

Fingers crossed. I'm not only very excited at the prospect of tinkering with this sim, but I also believe I could make a useful contribution. Either way, I understand spots are limited and choices have to be made. But thanks for your consideration in any case!

Hi Erik, many thanks for the update. To make sure my spam doesn't block or lose an email, what is the domain that the email will be coming from so I can keep it in the whitelist? Thanks.

Ok, at the chance of sounding too excited, can you at least let us know when the next round is released so I'm not blowing up my phone, iPad & laptop daily, looking for that magical email? Please......

Thanks and also additional thanks for the clarification on selection.

Matt

Hi guys,

We expect to add in more testers by the end of this week. I hope some of you are among that group.
