So, SG and I decided to go to San Diego Saturday for the night. The weather was fantastic so we started trying to find a room. EVERYTHING under $500 is booked and there is a $100 premium on everything. Comicon convention? No, I think that's over? We finally find a place in Encinitas about 25 miles up the coast. When we get there we discover it's the Gay Pride festival. Even worse, we were too late for the parade.

So we find this place in Encinitas, Vigilucci's...seriously good...wine, carpaccio, cioppino. SG gets so swept up in the atmosphere she has to go kiss the owner on the cheek when we are leaving. $200 and we have to thank HIM? The guy was just an operator. Any women without escorts he is there with free appetizers and booze. There were three women at the bar together. One looked like she just got out of a POW camp in Khota Baru, one was a bit chunky and the third was just right. Guess which one he is giving a backrub to?

I hope you didn't pass up the opportunity to ask him if he had an ancestor named Milo while you were thanking him.

You know, the guy was so effortlessly charismatic I wanted to kiss him too. The carpaccio was sublime, by ra way.

Sounds like he massaged your shoulders too! Or maybe all the way down the back so he could check the firmness of your ... wallet.

The post-parade pride is contagious???

Not that there's anything wrong with that....

**********Situation, PI***********

Lingayen: The westward directional pip over the LYB forces at Lingayen has disappeared. Only the northeasterly indicator remains. There are still 26K LYB's at Lingayen. I wonder if they called off their move toward Iba and instead intend to pound San Fernanado and Vigan?

San Fernando: There are now a "shed-load" of Ronsons at San Fernando. The relief column of armor from Vigan arrived. Now the remainder of Aus 7th Div and the armor will move back East together. Of course, JJ may attack first. War is Hell. We learned our lesson and will not be in move mode.

CVE's: The two damaged CVE's have 25-35% flotation damage and will try to make Butuan in northern Mindanao.

Many reinforcements headed for Iba. Br 2nd headed for Vigan/Aparri. Wasp and Yorktown to cover Br. 2nd moving up East coast of Luzon.

Actually, I just always wanted to do that. This is more like a warning. If we get our asses kicked (by bad die rolls ) for a third day in a row I am going to pick up my marbles. I am going to get off my saddleless horse, kneel down in the sand with my awesomely toned buttocks showing from under the loincloth and cry out;

JeffK - if thats your wife, you wouldn't have +3400 posts HERE

I honestly don't think I could marry something that beautiful... you know that 70's song about dirty dogs stopping by while I'm workin? There'd be a pile of dead men, and me in jail...

It appears FDR or Winnie has decided he is just another cane hanger.
Looks like they turned down his request for a glass eye too - he still has the patch.
Clever how they posed him and his cap so that the patch is in shadow...

Note how FDR has stashed his apparatus out of the picture. Churchill's scalp is steaming.

Back row: Hop Sing, ?, Marshall, Stilwell, Eisenhower, ?, Mountbottom?, Carton de Wiart.

The two Chinese generals behind Chiang Kai-shek appear to be:

Zhu De - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Chu_De2.jpg

Xue Yue - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xue_Yue

Do you think Churchill is getting steamed up from sitting next to Soong Mei-ling?

She was quite a babe.

I don't think Monty was there. Field Marshall Alexander was Chief of Army Staff, was he not? He would be most likely to attend. Mountbatten was invited to keep him from doing anything rash in the absence of Winston.

BTW - that "steam" most likely comes from Winston's big cigar.

You might be right. Another clue might be the hat. Monty was usually seen wearing a beret by then.

As I looked at pictures of Alexander I found one where he's wearing a beret that would fit the bill.

Nose profile looks wrong for Alexander.

You know, Lord Louis is quite an attractive fellow, not that there is anything wrong with that.

Madame Chiang is definitely a babe. Allegedly she bedded Wendell Wilkie when he was in China. Either he was really well hung or she was trying to get a visa.

***************Generalissimo Suite, Chungking Hilton**************

Madame Chiang in rearry hot red and black bustier and thong undies..well, to tell you the truth, it's 1943(c) so it's more like grannie undies..but she still rooks hot: Are you erected yet?

Wendall Wilkie: No, no, not till November '44 and I still have to get more votes than Mr. Roosevelt.

Madame Chiang in rearry hot red and black bustier and thong undies..well, to tell you the truth, it's 1943(c) so it's more like grannie undies..but she still rooks hot: No, sirry, Not ERECTED, ERECTED? <She grabs his crotch and emits a low moaning sound> Ooooooooooooooh Wendarr!*

* Now, I have to say this moaning bit sounded pretty convincing but, honestly, can you rearry be sure she isn't up to something? Maybe she is just tired of Chungking? Maybe the shoe stores are crappy? On the other hand, maybe the Generalissimo is diminutive in other ways as well? You just have to apply your own life experience to decide. It's up to you.
