POST ONE AS i spent an hour typing the original bug notice...only to be advised that my time was expired and the message was purged...leads to this series of posts being copy-paste from Notepad. The grand campaign of Germany vs the world was undertaken[solitaire]. I finally have decided to dedicate sufficient time to play and understand? the game. Germany, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Rumania, Italy, Hungary are established as HUMAN controlled. Poland : Nov 1 39...Poland is not yet conquered. A message states that i lose 5 STP for the failure of "too many losses taken". oops BUG ONE : the STP is reduced to zero. About Dec 39, decide i MUST have STP...and search the forum for correction. Eureka F12 . Add sufficient PP to buy the 16STP and soldier on. As planned, Netherlands and Belgium fall quickly by late Sept 39. A good tradeoff of PP i am thinking. Poland Warsaw is actually captured some time in Jan 1940. About the time Paris, Dunkirk is captured(April 1940)...i am notified that my missing Polish STP are now returned. YEP, all 5 of them. HMM...but my STP allowance is now reset to a TOTAL of 5!!! BUG TWO per chance? Paris - Dunkirk. Yes, they are captured on Feb 16, 1940. Now i can agree to Vichy and avoid those remaining persnickety French troops laying about the map. what...no VICHY opportunity ? again, soldier on. About the time i am attacking the city of Vichy...April 1940? the computer asks me if i now want to create Vichy. WHY when i have now finally irradicated much of the French Army and am advancing upon cities defended by air units? NO, certainly not. All those juicy French Vichy PP cities in hand are too lurcative after having paid the unnecessary price for irradication. It seems the computer is HARD WIRED to check for capture of Paris...but NOT BEFORE April 1940. This seems to be a bug to me. so NO VICHY ! hmm. The French navy persists as an annoyance. Fortunately, they appear to be very susceptible to German dive bombers. continued ...next post.
