after few games, i realise but maybe i am very unlucky that when
ennemy attack any of your TF it will be more likely to attack
the critical ship then if it was you that were the attacker, am i mad or anyone else noticing this too in there game?

here is few exemple

i had 6 submarine in same ex as there cv tf out of 6 sub none attacked any of their cv just the cvl

i have join my CV TF with the CA TF from brisbane, enemy caught me with 1 sub, guess what? 2 hit on the lexington

when both my CV TF and J CV TF are near each other by 3 times out of 3 both of my CV were disable and none of there were damaged even after many attacks of my planes

First thing I wonder is how may DD (and what types) did you and the Japanese TF have? You may never know for sure about the Japanese TF but the size and type of your DD screen can make a huge difference I would think.

Remember if the surface ships detect the sub first/before they are in firing range the sub will never get a shot at the CV. Even if the surface ships don't detect the sub before it fires it may still not get a shot at the CV due to range, speed, orintation, etc.

Luck is another big thing. Check the speed of most CV TFs. Compare it to the speed of your subs. If that sub is not in just the right place at the right time, your screwed.

I have yet to nail more than a CA myself. Got lots of transports though. :) edit: btw the **** CA did not sink :(
