Hi there,

I was wondering whether the following things are possible. And if so, how?

1) After invading a colony of a foreign race, how to get my own people shipped there? As far as I understand it should be the job of the private sector to move migrants to other colonies and they will do it if conditions at the colony are better (tax rates and so on).
In my last game, I invaded a few planets of the Shakturi. I wanted to kill the Shakturi population (exterminate) and at the same time get my own people there, even if the quality of the planet was very bad. Is that at all possible?

2) Is it possible to completely eradicate a population? Even if I set the policy to Exterminate, a few survivors still remain. The lowest population I got was 1M ...

1.) I don't believe you can control this aspect of the game. Lowering the tax rates may help in getting the migrants to come in. Other than that, I think that is it.

2.) That's a good question, I actually don't know. I guess if you are desperate you can always bombard your own planet .

1. Mirgration is based on the crowding on your other planets and some other factors we don't see.

2. You can wipe them out completely, however the AI will not wipe the population down to lower than 1 million if no other races are on the planet to maintain control. IE you can't wipe out the population if it will result in the planet going back to un-colonized. You'll need to wait till a few of your own or assimilated races arrive there for the unwanted population to be eradicated completely.
