San Fernando: For the second day in a row, not a single sortie goes in. Meanwhile, the Mongol Horde approaches Vigan.

Aparri: Quite effective air to ground attacks over Aparri. Hundreds of sorties from medium and heavy bombers. A portion of Br. 2nd Div is marching in from Laoag. They will have to shock attack across the river unless we send some armor across first.

New Star Trek movie arrived today. I think the Memsahib is saying something about it being loud but I can't hear her.

You should turn the sound down and ask the Memsahib if she wants some curried popcorn. If she says "yes" then giver her the recipe and then turn the sound back up.

Was there a saki drinking contest in that little town north of Takao? If so looks like the allied chaps were the last ones standing.

All transports sunk at sea, yet 89 Ronson's are only disabled??? WTF!!! - either the Kool-aide renders the WJDs to operate them from the sea-floor OR they must be Type 2 Ka-Mi ronsons

EDIT: yes I know those are Ozzies on it but it was the first pic I found...

From an aesthetic standpoint the lines are quite nice. I wonder if they hired Pininfarina?

Hey! You are right! Can you trust that with FOW (the concept, not the person)? Will there always be a unit icon if there is an enemy unit in the hex with your units?

Anyone who read the manual?

Don't know what the manual says about it, but from game experience I have twice experienced what to me were surprise attacks when I could swear that yes I looked and there was no enemy LCU icon. Sounds like wonderful FOW!

That's utter nonsense. Everyone knows that the UK consists of several small islands whose opinions don't matter.

As for you lot 'inventing everything', well you didn't invent "Twerking", didja? Miley Cyrus is a proud American, not some limey git.

Actually, it is a Hip-Hop dance move, i.e. African American. it is just that the old fart reporters don't know anything about hip- hop.

Speaking of meticulous attention to the groin, I was in a small group of students and residents/interns making rounds at the VA hospital and an elderly vet was standing in the doorway of his room with the setting sun transilluminating his hospital gown. There was a truly astounding silhouette between his legs reaching down to his knees. Even I was impressed.

The Chief Resident asked, "Mr. Johnson (not his real name ), would you mind if we examine your genitalia"?

Elderly Vet with impressive silhouette: Sure Doc! <with obvious pride. After the gown is lifted it is obvious it's all scrotum with a little shrunken kilbasa. It looks like a deflated basketball. Snickering professionally suppressed>

Chef Resident: Mr. Johnson, I notice your scrotum is quite swollen. How did that happen?

Elderly Vet with impressive silhouette: Yes sir! I exercise it every day!

JJ is fighting hard for Horrycrappo-jima. It is confirmed. Parachute infantry will NOT drop on a friendly hex. Recon over Karenko today. Somewhat dangerous to go so close to Naha but Takao is also dangerous
