Awright I meant "brief." Ques 1. In Wild Bill's "heros of the Motherand," I notice that it branches differently, depending on outcome. Anyway, I always seem to draw at the second battle of "Istra." At this point I am "retired" as commander. If I do better, will the campaign continue, or is this the last scenario? Just curious. This one is fun. Ques 2. I have been playing in a series of email tournaments for a year or two, and it has been quite a rewarding experience. (even though I have often been mauled) How does one get involved with league play here? I seem to be locked out of the opponents section. How does this work? And what are the choices? On line vs Email, and so forth. I'm used to getting beat up, but occasionally get my licks in, so this might be fun too. Whats da scoop? ------------------ Greg. 37 mill AA... can suddenly ruin your day. Pbem and on line games probably the best thing to do is come on over to the combat command forum. There are a number of leagues running right now. Look them over and join on in, then send out your challenges. The leagues are always looking for new blood, oops I mean new players ------------------ PR http://electricwar.tripod.com/ [This message has been edited by Pack Rat (edited February 25, 2001).]

Click on the multiplayer games link at the top of the page, this will start you on the process. There really isn't a quick click here and you must be signed on to the leagues to see the standings. I had hoped to help this part out with the web site but I haven't the software to do it and because results wouldn't come to me anyway it would be extremely labor intensive. Do you and others think this needs to be improved? As I've learned with the web site it's hard to guess what is working and what isn't with out feed back. ------------------ PR http://electricwar.tripod.com/

Ok. I got it all initiated; I think. Yup! multiplayer games. Joined the 41 desert league. Hung out a shingle with all the rest, and implied in a post over there that I was ready to be mauled again. If I don't get a nibble in a day or two I'll generate one of my attractive little "quickie" scenarios and toss it at the first name I don't recognize. Wish me luck --I know I do. ------------------ Greg. 37 mill AA... can suddenly ruin your day.

In the forum page on the very top is a line of links. One says "Multiplayer Gaming", it is the one. It will take you to this page http://208.185.88.171/mgnnews.asp at this page is another line of links click on the Combat Command link and it takes you here http://208.185.88.171/CombatCenter.asp This page has a join button and tells some about what everything is about. Hope this helps more. Do stop into the Combet Net forum and read some and by all means post your questions, it's a pretty good forum I think. ------------------ PR http://electricwar.tripod.com/ [This message has been edited by Pack Rat (edited February 27, 2001).]

MindSpy Hello Greg because of the time lag your questions might miss getting significant answers as it will soon be out of the pic and of course time being what it is it is hard to keep up and not too fun to receive an answer three weeks late no?! So to speed up the rate at which you can get solutions: There is a search link on the forum it allows you to look for specific submiters or articles or key words and presto their articles all come up fresh and new from the archives as the campaign has been written about and discussed many times you would then be able to read what has been said and of course you would then have the email addresses of the people who wrote them -- very fast and direct! the benefit is that you can then update things from a while ago and slip the odd message up until the once ago writers see the messages again and turn their attention once again to the campaign hope it works for you MindSpy

Yeah, I should have thought of that. I'll get efficient at this yet. I'm just impulsive. ------------------ Greg. 37 mill AA... can suddenly ruin your day.
