Not far behind, lost 4pts in having to replace Podolski (I ofthen make changes mid week and get caught by Euro games!!) and had 2 Chelsea players playing video games over the weekend.

Without being a good haughty french as i am , my team ( Liverpool ) set a new record for them. This is the first time in their history( 1892 ) where they get three clean sheets in a row for a win, in their 3 first games in a season. I was not expecting that start but they really look like the cendrillon or the underdog who can clinch a ticket for the Uefa.

Raph....STRICK... you slept while watching miracle in Istanbul again.

Not again...

Having a fantasy football team makes the football even more exciting. I watched the Liverpool vs Man United match practically on the edge of my seat. Started off hoping for a 0-0 and after Liverpool scored, I was praying for either a 1-0 or a 2-0 (if by a miracle Johnson or Lucas could score). Makes otherwise uninteresting games suddenly very watchable

Sadly we now have the boring international break

Its makes Matches worth watching, especially if you don't support a team in the premier league.

Anyone used their wild card yet?

Not me. It was very tempting last week with Chelsea/Villa not playing and injuries to key players upsetting my plans, but I figured it was too early. I think I should save this for if and when I get 3/4 injuries - and no subs to fall back on.

Not me either. And I had 5 players unavailable last week so I had just ten players with the chance to play last week.

Ozil is a good shout. I am thinking of doubling up on Ozil and Santi Cazorla (although need to wait and see what are Johnson's chances of playing next week first). Also I want to wait until the Internationals are played in case of further injuries....

I'm waiting to after the midweek internationals before I make any changes

I'd love to put Ozil in, but I doubt I can afford it

I'm waiting until the last possible minute after being caught last week with Podolski.

Problem is I often get caught out with start time and have to live with the previous weeks selections.

I'm looking at the same thing, it'd mean dropping Silva and probably change the long term plan for the team. The alternative is to swap Ozil for Cazorla but I'd say Arsenal have an easier run of games coming up. But will Mr Wenger start his new signing straight away?

Silva is injured possibly. Might be a moment to swap for ozil. But Man U have the easiest fixture. Home to crystal palace.

Thought long and hard about it

Coutinho and Rodriquez out

Beneteke and Henderson in

I don't think my strike force was good enough (and Osvaldo will play in Rodriquez position) and I had to sacrifice someone.

Just about to set off to the biggest game of the season - Burnley v hated local rivals Blackburn

We haven't beaten them for 34 years, which means that at my tender age of 40, I've never seen us beat them (its only thirteen games, but its still a long time)

Wish us lick!

Sorry cannot wish you lick but certainly wish the clarets luck. I have a soft spot for nearly all the famous old teams that have subsequently fallen on harder times - Sheffield Wednesday, Preston North End, Blackpool and Burnley chief amongst them (Blackburn were in that category before Jack Walker bought the Premiership title and beat us in the league cup final ).

Would be good to see Burnley back in the premiership after their one season drive-by a couple of seasons back

Bloody Van Persie Rubbish penalty caused by sloppy Palace passing. 2nd Half could be a cricket score....

Anyone who fancies a laugh at just how badly football players can play only needs to look at Blackburn's equalizer today. Totally, totally gutted.

Cheers Warspite btw

What is it about football and our tribal allegiances to our teams, badge and colours? Last week after we lost to the Gooners it took me days to get it out of my system. After all these years, I expected the worst - and got the result expected, but even so.....mad isn't it?

Collins stepped in for the missing Chadli. That was lucky. I thought it was defenders for defenders, etc.

I may need to lose some points to get an additional transfer or two in

I have one striker, Negredo not sure of a start and another, Bent who is injured. Both Cazorla and Johnson are also out.... Harumph...

It's not looking good for my lot right now. I've had to take another points deduction to get some uninjured players in. Four points down, Giroud and Arta into the team, this is the week that Giroud stops scoring I suspect.
