Here's the area south of Murmansk and north of Leningrad and you can see how John has wrapped around my defender and is negating
my roadblock. He's going to continue to the east as he can.

Here's the Pskov area. It's relatively stable and so on. There's not a lot of pushing going on in this AO.

Wow, the air superiority index is even at 33 each! How did that happen? Is it a one-turn fluke or is it a growing trend in favor of the Soviets?

I've been holding back all those planes that have a readiness of 65% or less and letting them rest. Now there's a lot of planes that are
"ripe" and I've been deploying them into the "field" at those places that need them. And there's been an influx of aircraft reinforcements
that has given the Soviets at least parity in fighters. And it's about time. I'm guessing that the Soviets might just be winning in the air war
and that makes me very happy.

A few good men.
Larry was able to counter attack one of my bridgeheads and push the eng unit back across the river thus leaving 4 regts cut off on the east bank.

During my turn I counter attack back across the river and re-established contact. How ever I was unable to completly surround larry's 2 units. The zoc stopped my units advancing after Larry's units retreated. I had a cmdo unit on an airfield so I dropped them into the vacant hex. The unit split into 3 coy's with 2 in the GTI. I dug them and waited to see what damage Larry would do.

I opened up Larry's turn to see that 1 coy had been able to hold it gound. Now I can reinforce with a couple of Inf div's and in due course destroy the two units. The 4 regts were saved.

I have sent Larry turn 23.
On the southern front Keiv fell this turn. My river crossings at cherkasy linked up and 3 inf div's were destroyed in detail.

At the narva river the bridgehead is expanding. It will interesting to see what Larry does here this turn.

After I captured Murmansk it had been my plan to advance to the bridge at 156,32 and dig in and then turn the AO into a back water. However Larry attacked and my forces were held up at 130,32. I then attacked the port at 168,28 which I only just captured my the skin of my teeth and with a comdo drop at 164,29 cut Larry's supply lines. He then reacted to the port capture by moving some of the supporting units that had been holding up my forces. During this turn I was able to destroy 1 inf div in detail and have been pushing the tank div back. larry now has to either cut his losses and withdraw to the bridge at 156,32 or he can try to move forward to the bridge at 148,32 and risk being overrun by my advancing forces.

Another view of the north front lines. The lines near the gap have been broken and John's units are pouring through so now all my stuff
near Pskov are in trouble. I'm going to have to see if I can't pull those guys to the east and set up another new front line where the
double blue lines are. Those guys defending Leningrad are just going to fend for themselves. They should be able to hold out for
another four turns I'm guessing.

The front lines in the middle are relatively stable. Haven't changed much in the last couple of turns.

Here's the south part of the front lines. The riverbank is where a lot of killing is taking place. Savage fighting and the cost is climbing.
I've got blockers I can rail into that AO but they would just get pushed backwards. I've got to start building stacks of units to give me
enough strength to hold the hex and I don't quite have enough units to do that everywhere.

Here's a closeup of the Leningrad area where John is breaking through slowly. He's pushing my guys aside and my roadblocks aren't
slowing him down all that much.

Hm... why so? Why don't you fall back to the river Luga and the swamps south of Lake Ilmen?

Here's what it looks like to the east of Leningrad in the trees. John has blown a path through my blockers and is in the process of
pouring all his guys through the gap. I suppose he's going to approach Leningrad from the east as well.

Hey, that's a better idea. I like that a lot. I'll do that. Thanks for your input my friend.

Here's some of the losses so far. The number of rifle squads on hand is going to drop when John gets around to doing all the mop up
that is pending. There's lots of isolated divisions out there that he hasn't killed yet. I expect the number on hand to drop from 17K to
about 10K or so by Turn 30.

Here's how the air war is going. I think the tide is beginning to turn. It's costing me losses but according to the AS meter I've got a tiny
bit more AS than John does. But that's just a number probably just an average number and doesn't reflect the local AS in any given
locale on the map. I wish there was some way we could get TOAW to show us the fighter arcs and the bomber arcs separately. The
way it is now you get the arc of everybody or just one dude and that's semi-helpful at best. IMHO.

Here's all the stuff I'm supposed to get next turn. A whole lot of it is reconstituted so I expect those to be cherry red. I'm torn between
moving them when they are red and cost less to move, or letting them rest first before I move them. I think moving them first when they
are still red might delay the refit process somehow but I have no proof of that.

I think I have determined that 151,22 has no discernable supply and John vacated the hex he had captured so I moved a cherry-red fort
into that hex. I think John wasn't getting any supply out of 168,28 or maybe the great big group of my dudes scared him or something.
Either way I need to baracade the railway somehow.
