OK so after a couple of attempts and learning the ropes of how to take out SAM sites (the mobile ones are a real pain) I have a satisfactory result :D

Way to go! They got 90 SAMs off at you and you only lost 3 a/c? A 1:30 ratio isn't bad at all!

I'm particularly impressed by:
30x 20mm/85 M61A1 Vulcan Burst [100 rnds]

I had a very tight OECM box around the launchers and made sure to reduce the threat before sending more vulnerable birds in.

I think I got most of the designated targets, the assembly and industrial buildings but I'm not sure what they meant with the third target, I am curious about the bull's eye building though is that some extra points if you destroy it?

Open it up in the Scen Editor and take a look at the Event Engine. That should tell you what was worth what.

Wow hehe. Expenditures look impressive.

As mentioned earlier, in the next version of the tutorial scenario the A-7s will have 4x Shrike loadouts instead of the 2x Shrikes + CBUs. So you will have 24 ARMs at your disposal rather than just 12.

I'd rather have them actually use those CBUs when they're on a SEAD mission. You're not trying to cover up any bugs there, are you?

I don't know that the bomblets are actually OP (or buged if you will). I found them quite powerful but in doing a bomb run without any OECM support the planes were shot down after (and often before) delivering the payload. The Shrikes however can be delivered from much farther away even if they have less of a guarantee to hit the target they do increase the survival rate of both pilot and plane.

That being said I'm not sure that removing the bomblets completely from the payload options is a good idea. Maybe just adding 2 more planes to the roster with the same payload would help cover more targets. As it stands I doubt anyone could destroy ALL the buildings with the current payloads available.

The CBUs are working just fine, but there seems to be a problem with the mission AI that prevents the plane from actually dropping them under AI control, when you keep the altitude on automatic. The planes don't adjust their altitudde to get within release parameters, so the CBUs don't get dropped while on a mission.

AH I see what you mean now, I just assumed it was standard procedure for the AI to use the weapons that were the safest by default.
