Please oh please. Put in an option to turn off the popup, and turn off the scroller entry.

Once you get into the 90+ range on colonies, and get new tech that makes everything upgrade at once, the spam from these messages lag the game pretty hard.

Ever so annoying.

Agreed, getting several of these messages PER SECOND is not fun, particularly since there's not a huge amount I can do about it as it concerns my private sector.

Not a solution but a workaround, go into designs and put the mine designs to retrofit on manual. When you do have an upgrade then click either the gas or mine to auto, not both, this will cut down on half the messages, doing this I have found that even with 250+ mines I do not get the lag. Takes a little getting used to as you have to check the amount of mines (gas or mine) on the ships and bases screen against the amount of current designs in the designs screen, once the gas or mines are up to date then put it back to manual and put the other to auto, as I said a workaround not a solution, but it works. Have made an extensive post on this quite a while ago with possible solutions and ideas to fix it, can but hope this is going to be given some more thought in future.

I'd also be a huge fan of the ability to remove these messages from the ticker and popups. They're extremely important messages I know, but my ticker gets so far behind what's actually happening it just can't keep up and I miss other important things.

They are extremely unimportant messages.
Because you can't do much to do anything to remove the resource shortage there, you need to wait for the private sector until he solve the problem.

Oh yes you can design State ships with mining engines, but the problem are, they unload only to the next Spaceport. You can't force them to unload the resources to a colony or base they need them.

Thanks for the feedback

In the next update there are already significant improvements to resource transport by freighters which should alleviate a lot of this pain.

However I've also added an option to completely disable these messages.
