This is what I get when I attempt to update.

So, I still can't play the game due to the 'black screen issue' and I can't update the game to see if it has been fixed with the new patch.

Any chance of getting a full new download link to the latest version?

Hi Redmarkus4,

The update server is working fine, we just re-tested it here. You could try to reboot or turn off anything else that might be interfering (firewall or security software), or you can always download directly from the Downloads page here:

Thanks Erik.

I realized I can re-download the entire install which is what I am doing now. If that doesn't work, I'll come back to you.

This is the same rig I use for all my other Matrix titles and updates have always worked in the past.

It might be that the black screen issue is linked to an install error which is also preventing the update from kicking in...

Hi Redmarkus4,

That error means that something is either blocking the update installer from checking the game's version or the game was incorrectly installed.

Some suggestions:

1. Turn off any anti-virus/security software
2. Uninstall and reinstall 1.00 from the original full installer, as Administrator, to the default location.
3. Reinstall the 1.01 update, as Administrator

Hello Erik,

After several days of enjoying this game, I know for a fact that my hardware router is locking out my ability to update your software. Would you please advise us of your server details, URL and ports used so that I can open these up on my router to allow the packet connection.

I gave up on that auto update feature. More reliable to download the patch from the website.

Hi guys, I'll get that info for you on Monday as far as the True Update goes (the one you get when clicking on "Check for Updates" from the desktop game menu).

Unfortunately I have the same problem on all my Matrixgames pitchers. Guess it must be a firewall issue. Will check.
